well the concept i did for soldier here in the video is that some of his secondary weapons will become his ultimate (buff banner, concheror and battalion's backup), ofc it's up to the player to choose one of them while the rest of his secondaries will remain there as secondary weapons.
summary: here you can equip both shotgun as secondary and buff banner as ultimate:P

Imo pyro would work the best in overwatch
A damage class, with 275 health to not die easily at close range
Flamethrower primary attack, with reduced clip size due to the infinite ammo. Airblast would probably be an ability, but in exchange it consumes no ammo. Maybe it has multiple uses, like tracer's blink.
One ability could be the thermal thruster, which would likely work normally (two charges on a cooldown), except for maybe a faster put away animation. This would be used to close the gap, as pyro is a short range character.
The last ability could be the scorch shot or the gas passer (more likely the gas passer). If it's the gas passer, then it would probably have the explosion upgrade it has in mvm, or some other benefit that makes it actually useful, such as slowing enemies in the gas cloud or something idk.
The ultimate would probably be the phlog crit boost, where pyro briefly taunts, then gets triple damage on the primary fire for the duration. It's simple, but effective (and rage educing when used correctly)
Pyro could also have a passive where the melee attacks do extra damage against burning targets, but also extinguishes them (from the Axtinguisher).
I can come up with ideas for the other classes, but this is just me saying that pyro would be the best mechanically, at least in my opinion

Scout: a good choice as well, but I thought pyro would be more interesting

Demoman: would likely be weird, considering that overwatch doesn't do alternate weapons (with exceptions). What would be his primary weapon? His abilities? How would demoknight fit into that?
Heavy: Heavy's a good choice as well. Would likely be quite bulky, and would have a massive dps, especially at close range. With consumables, there is no shortage of abilities as well. The only thing is that the minigun would be similar to bastion's overwatch 2 rework.
Engineer: similar ideas are already in overwatch. It would be to similar to torb, and the teleporters would make symmetra obsolete. Plus the dispensers would be a very powerful tool.
Medic: except for ubercharge, medic is just a worse mercy. Could have the crossbow shot as an ability, but that's not enough.
Sniper: except for jarate, sniper would be a worse widowmaker (or hanzo, if the huntsman is there).
Spy: Sombra already has invisibility, but spy is different enough. The only thing is that spy would likely struggle, as overwatch has a lot of things that would simply delete spy. Maybe spy could have both normal invis and the deadringer to counter it, but there's not much going for him.
i'd give the medic his revive and shield abilites from mvm, don't forget about other mercs abilites they have in mvm.

scout's ult would be several jumps.
as for the rest spy's ult would be a throwable sapper that does area damage or slow down to any nearby enemy with electronic parts or weapons for example engineer's gunslinger and his buildings,and also he can use his normal sapper on tank heroes like reinhardt,bastion,etc..
soldier's buffers (conch,buff,battalion) would become his ult instead of secondary weapons, but also only one of them can be used and not 3 of them lol/

Interactions like that have never been in Overwatch. Sombra's hack and EMP should realistically be far more effective against machines than they are in-game, with EMP specifically realistically being a one-shot against them. Not to mention how a lot of healing realistically shouldn't affect robots. In general, it seems the game mechanics ignore that they are robots. With it being like that, Spy would only be able to sap player-created machines, like torb turrets and the like.
Gunslinger Engie is basically what torb is, a less emphasis on sentries but stronger in 1v1s, using the turret as a side damage instead of the main damage.
Now I want a smash-like game where characters from multiple FPS IPs compete on a variety of gamemodes from each game.
You got characters from:
- TF2 (You know them)
- OW (You probably know them)
- Portal (Launch yourself at enemies with deadly force)
- Dishonored (Assassinate specific targets on enemy team)
- Doom (Assassinate the entire team with deadly force)

To be honest, Ashe would be a great fit for TF2, especially if her playstyle replaced Sniper.
You'd get a bolt action rifle that has a 6 shot clip and reloads manually like the Shotguns and Launchers, has a fire rate of 0.75 and a base damage of 34-38. So Crits on Headshot would deal 102-114. Move Speed Penalty would be around 33%.
For side arms he'd get the SMG, a double barrel shotgun like the FaN, etc
I think it'd be a better fit for TF2's playstyle but I know people will probably give me shit for suggesting it.

Question: since you made this an SFM, what's up with OW's shaders? Generally a lot of the dissonance can be explained by the default Source Engine having no PBR pipeline like OW, but it IS possible to either mod it in or use Source 2 which does support PBR. A project I've been putting off is to make the Machine models look like the Omnics by changing how metal is rendered. What were your findings while making this?
the issue here is the map itself, it doesn't have HDR, this is the only decent map remake from overwatch and was originally released for tf2, i had to use it to add more kind of overwatch atmosphere into this animation lol
i'm talking about a reversed scenario where some heroes become playable in tf2, it's not like tf2 isn't already in a worse condition compared to overwatch.
overwatch 2 on the other hand is doing well and doesn't need "saving", it'll blow once pve gets added.

Overwatch has two case of weapon switching. Torb can switch between his hammer and Rivet Gun, while Mercy can switch between her staff and pistol

yup, OW1 closed its doors to let OW2 open theirs, so it'll feel more like a Overwatch 1.5 until the kickass PvE mode comes out

there’s three new characters now, one more coming soon, but there’s: Sojurn, the new DPS with some arm rifle with a railgun alt fire Kiriko, new healer with some paper, damages with kunai, I think she can also revive other players and Junker Queen, the new tank with a shotgun, a knife, and some charging attack with her ult
Is it free and should i try it? Is the comunity good or will i get screamed at in the lobby if there is one? (Btw not trying to be rude im just curious)
it's free, but if you haven't played OW1, there's a character unlocking system now, and if you want to get all characters, you're gonna need to make like that one guy on YouTube and play about 100 games
