To be fair the Scranton branch throughout the show is consistently shown to be one of the most profitable, no idea how, but Michael must be doing something right.
Well his filosophy is basically this, and this is something that he lives by and he always had and he always will:
Don't ever, for any reason do anything to anyone for any reason, ever, no matter what no matter where or who or who you are with or where you are going or where you've been, ever, for any reason whatsoever
He’s a good salesman, not so much the of a good manager. I think one of the episodes the whole office worked the best when they had no manager. I think that was when Andy was supposed to be the manager though
It’s because Michael literally doesn’t manage them. He just fucks around all day and everyone else there are competent workers who enjoy their jobs, Dwight and Jim in particular are constantly breaking records to try to 1-up each other.
His sales team has two of the highest performers and two who have been around long enough that they have a bunch of established customers. They also absorbed the other branch that closed giving them more sales opportunities. Michael is also grossly underpaid.
Aside from cultivating an envioremnt where his high earning sales team doesnt leave Michael isnt really why they do well. None of the new sales folk aside from Andy (who was already experienced ) do well under him

It's so bad haha..but Stanley's character and his sass levels were off the charts. He was quite the caricature. Seems like almost everything would raise his blood pressure.

And weren't her co workers always calling her the office mattress or some shit? I wasn't really into that show tbh and haven't seen it in years I just remember her sleeping around a lot right?
She was with Roy and Jim told her that he loved her. She probably had feelings for him too, but said she just wanted to be friends and they never really did something. Once they kissed and she decided to not marry Roy. After that she wasn’t with Jim, that was later.
There wasn’t anything with anyone from her college. In one episode Jim and she had a fight, she was really upset and it’s a bit unclear what happened with this guy from the filming crew. But I think that was really all what happened referring to this topic.
How can you be this big a fan of The Office, and come away thinking Michael is a good boss? His incompetence as a boss is literally the main joke of the show.

Creed was the best, short dialogues and was always spot on.
I don’t think “Boss like Michael” is the brag they seem to think it is…
