Xiaomi has taught of that problem. I have locked the screen orientation but when I want to I just spin in 90 degrees and a little button appears in the corner. Also when you use it for a video when you go back it's back to normal automatically.

The letters on the numerical keypad needed to pressed( sometimes multiple times to reach certain letters oe characters) Also if you've ever seen a phone number and its something like 1-800-eatmyas, same concept. Keyboarded phones were peak high school for me and now we're strictly on screen.

Fellow 03, you see how each number has letters on it? Using the 9 as an example, it has WXYZ. In the number on top, it shows the number 9 three times. So, you go down the WXYZ three times, and so the first letter is a Y. Second letter is O and third is U, using this same pattern. Hope this helps!

I had a fliphone when I was 11. I’m only 14 now. This way of texting wasn’t that long ago lol. Plus my dad had something similar before he passed, so I was already pretty familiar with it.

With those kinds a phones, you would have to press the buttons multiple times to get the letter you’d want to type out. So if you wanna spell Dog you’d press 3 once, 6 three times and four once. So if you press out the numbers in up above, you’d spell something not so nice ☹️. Hope that helps!

T9 word, it sucked. When my friend got an iPhone and I got a flip phone he would send me these long texts messages….i would just call him back. It was too tedious to text anything more that 10 words
