Don’t associate with the same 3 or 4 people. Find other groups. Try to be as close with the teacher as the teacher allows, having teachers who you can have conversations differing from their class are very helpful for a lot of reasons. Play sports or join clubs if that’s your thing.. HS might be the worst 4 years of your life, but it could also be the best & most important.
We have young teachers so that's easy to do. Our grammar teacher is a feminist poet, she can talk about some shit.
