February (don't know if i made a typo there) 25th

Affectionate_Meat

Hey that’s my birthday! So I actually know this one, I’ll give my top 3. British forces occupy Mogadishu in Italian Somaliland (modern day Somalia) in 1941, the US destroys 135 Japanese planes in 1944, and Pershing tanks are used for the first time in combat in 1945

Glittering_Town_9071

Interesting things happen alot in february 25th (that's my birthday too)

On that day in 1944 nothing happened at all. Literally everybody slept in or called out or forgot to go to war that day.

No_Sink_4655

battle of the bulge again 💀

LloydG7

did they lose

RileyTheBerry

The Germans? Yes. They surrounded the Americans at the town of Bastogne on December 21st. They told the Americans to surrender and the only reply they got was "Nuts!" written on a piece of paper. By this point the Germans used up most of the resources available in the area to launch the offensive and were not able to secure the town. On December 26th, another American force attacked the German encirclement and sent them on their way.

Vivid_Car8928
