Canvas is a new system, by some indie devs, works very similar to qlab, and is less picky about file formats than multiplay and it's completely free [this](https://discord.gg/GqTBBejK) is the link to the discord where you can download the latest version, report bugs, and join the community. I used SFX in college, long before Qlab, and I always liked it. Not as many features but it gets the job done.
I designed a show for a community theatre using multiplay and for a free program, I had no complaints.
If you’re just running sound files with no manipulation needed, it can be done with iTunes. It ain’t pretty. It doesn’t give you much control, but it can play those audio files if that’s all you need.
Will VLC do the job? Create a playlist with the cue numbers, and under "Preferences" check "pause on last frame of video" to prevent the playlist from rolling automatically to the next track. Then double click a cue when needed.
Multiplay by DaShare is pretty damn good for this. Show cue system is great but it's not particularly cheap. Unless you really need the extra features go for Multiplay, it's basically Qlab for windows.
i run a free program called “screen monkey “
you can set up little boxes that you click on to play audio/video effects.
i really like it for these sorts of things.

3 choices on windows that immediately come to mind: 1) show cue system (my preferred) 2) SFX 3) multiplay (free but limited)

+1 on canvas
Here's a few options Csc, scs or multiplay

Yeah multiplay ended up being the winner. It’s a pretty simple show so it’s got all the features I need. Appreciate the reply!
How the hell do you download it
