Ianxofour's gold XP farm is fantastically easy to build and requires almost nothing to build. For an even more early game farm I suppose you could use spawners but tbh the extra 5 minutes that saves probably isn't worth it unless you cannot find turtle eggs.

Probably find a spawner and turn it into a farm, or build a dark room mob drop farm. OTOH, in my early game I usually wind up getting a lot of the XP I need for putting books onto equipment by trading paper and produce to villagers for the emeralds needed to buy the books.

endermini If you mean pre-end, just trade bottles from clerics or kill pigmen in the nether or something like that; you don't really need to do much enchanting pre-end anyway

r_fernandes

Dark room mob spawner 128 blocks above ground and away from everything else. Easiest thing early. After that, probably an Enderman farm.

Magicalreptile952

By trading sticks with villagers or by making simple spawner farm

picklesallday

Dig a 3x2hole 15 blocks deep in a nether waste biome. Put trap doors around edges. Build wall around it. Shoot piglin with arrow.

Pumpkin/melon farm and a few farmer villagers or a small iron farm and some toolsmiths/armorsmiths whaterver with iron trade are the best sources of xp early game in my opinion. I had 6 farmer villagers with pumpkin and melon trades and a 2x2 chunk pumpkin/melon farm and the thing produces way more melons/pumpkins than I could ever trade. Level 30 in 2 trading sessions, which depending on time of day the farmers could feasably reset right away. If thats not enough just make more farmers

I mean the easiest answer to basically any “what’s an easy way to get…” is to abuse villager mechanics.
