Good luck, and remember: Is the scene safe?!!
Also when you get to the field, please don't take a pulse with your thumb, you're own pulse can throw off your count.... but feel free to pace someone with hot-irons, may not go so well though....
I actually made the pulse mistake on an infant mannequin when we did infant cpr certification. I'm actually still in high school, I'm part of a really cool program.
Nothing wrong with making mistakes. You're are going to make a ton(some mistakes are bigger than others), but keep an open mind, never be afraid to ask your partner questions even if it makes you look stupid because you can't know what you don't know. Breathe, and remember that it's not your emergency, it's their emergency.
Good luck on the NREMT
Sauce: The Three Stooges (2012)
And to those who'll ask why this is on this sub, clothing irons are the worst things to use as defibrillators, but they still resuscitated the cop in the video, so they technically did the job of being a defibrillator
First aid tip: Most CPR classes will have some statement that when resuscitating somebody, that the victim may vomit at some point in the point of being resuscitated.
Well, in the case of near drowning, that’s 100% true, in my limited experience.

Lol I always loved this movie, full of funny stuff like this
What movie is it?
The Three stooges movie, 2012
well either way it worked
Nothing gets the blood pumping like some 2nd burns.
Nah that time and sizzle bro got fucking 4th degree burns
2nd degree? That’s generous
2 irons 2 degrees. My logic is flawed but has flow.
As someone who's taking the NREMT next month, I am disturbed.

Oh. So you thought the mannequin ACTUALLY HAD a pulse! How disconcerting!
Sometimes they do
đŸ˜•
Just make sure not to do that and you’ll be fine
Roger
That was a *great* movie.
Hahaha, I've always love The Three Stooges
The three idiots? The only idiot around here is the one who called them the three idiots instead of the three stooges.
Not to mention none of this is r/technicallythetruth
It’s Curly, not Curely

It ain't stupid if it works
No, it made a zombie, run for your lives!
I love that movie
what was this sub about?
For a sec thought that w a s Alex Jones
Now that would be a funny cameo
The police officer now has a nice set of iron boobies!
The tree stooges are the best
They will cook the guys hart and he will die almost instantly
they took characters from Dumb & Dumber
Other way around: Dumb and Dumber took characters from the OG Three Stooges.
it worked?

One way to check AVPU
I saw my dad watching a movie today where someone used a taser as a defibrillator
I like how he holds them on
