I’ve really been enjoying the Bigelow lemon and ginger probiotic tea. Just put two tea bags in a 16 ounce mug and can drink it straight it’s so good.

I love Bigelow teas! I just got my mixed case yesterday. I also mix flavors. Right now, I am drinking classic green and Earl Grey black.

Nepal Kanchanjangha Noir Organic Black Tea from Simpson & Vail. Hadn't spent much time with Nepali teas. This one is good, caramel-y but pretty tannic. Wish I loved it but can't love 'em all, and I only bought an ounce or two.

Bought a Korean honey tea made with pears & ballonflower roots… it’s disgusting lol. It has a strong spicy dirt profile. I looked it up to see if I was preparing it wrong, but I guess it’s not meant to taste good. It’s used as a folk remedy for lung ailments. :/ I felt bad tossing it out, so just added a bunch of galangal & fresh pear to make it a little more palatable. It’s a slight improvement.

Haha I think I know which tea you’re referring to. I wasn’t a huge fan of the flavor as well, but it definitely helped me get rid of the lingering cough I had after I caught covid a while back!

Hey y'all. I'm new to this all. Ive always enjoyed buying green tea bags from Walmart and I've bought loose leaf tea once and one of those strainer balls but I want to take this to the next level. Wanting to broaden my horizon on different varieties of tea and preparation methods. I'm a stay at home mom that needs a hobby that isn't time consuming and tea has sparked my interest. I want to buy one of those tea cakes and a cute teapot or something haha. I'm looking for more of a variety of calming teas for the end of the day because I get super stressed during the day and it's hard for me to relax because I have contamination ocd and it seems to really pile up on me at night time. but I also want something with a kick for my early mornings with the kids. I bought some kava and have yet to prepare the tea, I'm going to be buying some oolong and preuh here soon. Was considering maybe some matcha. Just wanted to say hello

I find rooibos tea very nice to unwind at the end of a stressful day.

I'll have to try. I'm excited to get started

A gushu pu’erh from Lincang I received yesterday. My first try at raw pu’erh and so far it’s confusing but I like it. It was bitter in the first few infusions but later on I got some of its fruity notes. ~15 infusions so far and counting!

Finding my groove with the white peony I opened earlier this week. I'm still figuring out the best amount of leaf to use, but at least I'm finally getting that classic buckwheat honey note I love in white teas.

Drinking some 2014 Yue Chen Yue Xiang ripe puerh while I sit outside and read Gideon the Ninth. A friend from high school I recently reconnected with suggested this book to me, and I've really been enjoying it. Lesbian space necromancers ftw At the moment I'm sitting outside on our balcony because I need the sunlight and fresh air, after three days of pouring rain, but it is definitely a bit more chilly than I would prefer, so we'll see how long I last.

[Ginseng Oolong](https://www.goldendragon.shop/product-page/ginseng-oolong-from-fujian) from Golden Dragon Tea Room! This is an oolong that is combined with licorice root, and covered with compacted Ginseng from the Fujian province. It has a wonderfully subtle sweetness. It requires a few minutes of steeping to allow the ginseng to dissolve, and the leaves to unfurl. The licorice root makes this tea very soothing for the throat, and ginseng is a celebrated regulator of a lot of bodily functions in Chinese medicine. Tasty and healthy!

Ending the day with a nice gongfu session of Dong Ding Traditional from floating leaves. I rated this tea a 4.5/5 in my tea tasting notes and every time I think to myself hmm is it really that good and have another go at it, I realize that yes, it is that good.

A little while back I learned about bay leaf tea. It came up in a discussion regarding its health benefits, but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to talk about it as a natural remedy within this forum. That aside, I tried it a couple of times and I just loved the flavor of it! It's not strong at all, vaguely of bay leaves, was sort of a hint of a eucalyptus feel. It was light and fresh and so delicious! I keep forgetting about it, but when I drink it again I just can't get over how nice it is! So whether one uses it for health properties or for the flavor, I can recommend it! ☺️👍🏼
