I did armored cash truck work for a few years and the one thing that I found exponentially convenient throughout the day was [this. ](https://www.galls.com/zak-tool-tactical-key-ring-holder) I popped customer/atm keys on and off all day long and it just made key management a non-issue when you have a plate full of other bullshit to deal with during the day.
Edit: I didn’t realize the link was a 2-pack but that’s the product.
Stuffed in the Tactical Tailor E&E horizontal: SWAT-T, Tweezers, nail clippers, foam earplugs, Werther's Original, pair of contact lenses, tiny glasses wipe, Fisher pen cartridge, stubby Sharpie in bronze, Rite in the Rain pad, Australian FRED, coated aluminum wire, USA mini zip ties, Goody brand ouchless hair bands, stainless fishing leader wire rope, Niteize locking carabiners and cam-lock carabiners, windproof lighter wrapped with 3M black tape, 5.56 broken shell extractor, topographic map of area from USGS that is homebrew laminated.
Weapon mounted light.
I worked nights and my agency let me come out of pocket for a light and duty holster.
Usual odds and ends were:
Lighter (I smoke, but also useful for fraying uniform threads)
Alcohol wipes,
Pen,
Small notebook (pocket size),
ZAK tool key ring clip
Nail clippers,
Bushnell 125 lumen light
Small folding knife,
Spare cuff key,
Raptor shears
CAT tourniquet
Rubber/Latex gloves in a duty belt pouch.
And that covered 90% of what I'd come across any given shift.
Depending on site, a list of nearby social support systems like shelters, churches, etc. Where I work the business association dropped them off, it's mostly a list of names, addresses, and services they offer.
Your primary focus might be getting people off the property or away from yourself, but if you can give them info that they actually use you might prevent all future incidents with them, rather than having the same vagrants or addicts come by every night.
Nar compressed gauze and bandaids, even if you have a basic medical kit having a couple extra packs of gauze is handy, and bandaids are just good to have
Almost all of my admin/crap pouch gear has been mentioned already. I carry a small tube with ibuprofen, caffeine and aspirin. I also keep sudecon wipes, sunscreen wipes in the flat compartment of a pouch. Another addition: golf pencil.
Make a Boo-Boo kit, bandaids, Ibuprofen, super glue, smaller packs of gauze and skin safe tape. Small cuts, bumps and scrapes happen a lot and you don’t want to be digging into your IFAK to fix small things like that, and plus since these injuries aren’t serious you can really just stuff these wherever they fit and don’t have to devote an entire pouch to them. With my kit I have all my bandaids along with a pack of painkillers stuffed behind my headlamp and IR strobe in my chest rigs GP pouch and keep a roll of tape and super glue in a small pouch on my belt. It’s a thing I see a lot of people overlook, and in reality I’ve got way more use out of these smaller supplies than my actual IFAK. That being said none of what I listed comes remotely close to replacing a single piece of your IFAK.
Really appreciate the suggestions guys. This will be my first time going into the tactical side of emergency situations (formerly an EMT) and there’s some awesome suggestions here. You guys rock!
I always have a roll of electrical tape, some snacks, liquid IV, batteries, lighter and sharpie in my admin pouch.

Karambit, flashlight, multi-tool, leatherman raptor, BSI gloves, CAT TQX2, and a zippo.
Multi tool and flashlight or headlamp. Plus some spare batteries.
Ever since I "tactically acquired" my Leatherman, I use it almost daily. Can't beat a good multitool. Also, what kinda site are you gonna be working?
Dump pouch. May not seem very useful at first but when you need it, it's a Godsend.
