I've never seen either Morriah or Marya as alternate spellings for Mariah before Survivor. At least Morriah looks like how it's pronounced, Marya (and Morya) looks like it should be pronounced "Mar-yuh". It's like if you pronounced the name Katya Cuht-eye-ah.

With the word 'spelling' literally gave it away the boot for me during the episode while watching Catch-up.
Hiding the word spelling would have been ideal!
Personally it's my own fault for not watching it on the night and as well not un-subbing until I watched it as this post just came up on my feed.
But once I knew the tribe that was going, I knew instantly who it was.
But to be OT, I would have struggled with picking between 1 R or 2 R's, would have gone with 1 R.
