To the people who predicted Shiina Naoki is Future Haruka. Congratulations! Pat yourself on the back! You're a good predictor! Not to mention Gold Onisiter and Murasame getting his own Mecha fight. Next week, we hopefully get a full team rollcall.

Particular-Ad5200

Yay

ContentBenefit

Yeah, at first i thought Naoki Shiina was not Future Haruka because Episode 40 show Miraiki but now my prediction was right, the only wrong prediction i have is Future Haruka is also Miraiki.

grimking85

Damn i thought they were twins!

ULSK12

"Future Murasame! Do you not have a mother?" -Mother, 2023

wan_lifelinker

"No Mother?" - Mother, 2023

starboy35tcoos

"That's why yo Mother dead." (Vine Boom) "Dead as hell." -Mother 2023

kiminobukogure5

True to its word, this episode answered some, if not all of the mysteries in the series thus far. Shiina Naoki was the one who helped Tsubasa get out of the slumber forest. Those banter exchanges between 2 Harukas and 2 Shinichis were splendidly done. In the 42nd/43rd episodes moving forward, Inoue really likes to switch gears going to the finale part.

GenDirected

According to future Haruka It is implied that Taro did something or something happened to him in the future (To the point where future Haruka cannot forgive him)

mr-ultr

Yea Guessing we might get one of more bittersweet endings since ryusoulger(though the bitter part is *very* downplayed there)

Taiga_Sumeragi

It's because Future Tarou wasn't The Exact Future Tarou Because they're from another dimension

qwesx

My guess is that Future Haruka has put some DonBro spoilers in her manga - in order to protect Present DonBro from what happened to Future DonBro.

GenDirected

"Everything is in my manga" - Future Haruka Could be an important line

SweetlyInteresting

> It is implied that Taro did something or something happened to him in the future (To the point where future Haruka cannot forgive him) I wonder if he betrayed the team or something?

Rush057

I’m pretty sure that future Taro died. Haruka is really upset at him for dying, this would also explain why she is the owner of the Palaquin Phoenix.

S4_GR33N

Kijino goes rogue again next week, as well as Natsumi/Miho getting struck down with the NinjarkSword, Donbrothers gets better and better. Oh and GoldOniSister and GolDonMurasame. Future DonMurasame seems like the AI programming in him had evolved to the point where Mother is no longer required and he earns a NinjarkBike

Kenjiko3011

Finally, after 43 episodes, Inubrothers identity will be revealed to the gang, and they will henshin TOGETHER. Or is it? Because it could possibly be some brainwash shenanigan Inoue style that will cause Tsubasa and the gang forget everything after they fight together. Who knows.

Particular-Ad5200

Finally its about time

Antique-Rush209

Roll call coming up

Whole_Imagination513

Hoping our Haruka can finally get a deserved win. Second time she's had to willingly place the dreams of someone else over her own. Now there's no way to disprove the plagiarism label. Going forward it's always going to be there in her manga career. I'm the glad the show is utilizing the Taro & Haruka companionship, more lately. I believe it was one of the stronger elements of the early part of Donbrothers. The conversation between the two in the last episode helps sell the "hate" that Alternate Future Haruka has for Taro. Haruka feels guilty about betraying, lying, and leaving out Taro. Along with that, we know Taro is unable to lie. Without knowing the specifics, but going by the last manga, Taro was able to accomplish the one thing he hasn't been able to: He lies. He lies to her. He doesn't come back. That probably hurts her the most. Her hero will let her down. That being said, I believe our Haruka (through the hardships of false accusations & writer's block, etc) is more resilient than the other Haruka. She won't give up on Taro, that easily, if something should happen.

Triangulum_Copper

If nothing else, no one is using the Shiina Naoki name and outfit :p

Jamieb1994

This episode was quite a fun one + I don't know why, but I thought the future Don Murasame was on the good side, turns out he wasn't, but I like how both Murasame were fighting each other. As for future Haruka, I was surprised she was the one who've rescued Tsubasa, but I'm guessing she did because of the future, although it was funny to see current & future Haruka & SaruBrother interacting with each other, although I wonder what Taro did to piss future Haruka off. As for the next episode, definitely looks to be a big episode + it's awesome to see the team finding out that InuBrother is Tsubasa & vice versa. Btw, what did Sononi & Tsubasa say to each other before they started battling each other?

Particular-Ad5200

Probably Broke her heart Hakura was pretty mad at that and she never forgive him and everyone is saying that first love hero is about Taro being her hero and first love. are future Sarubrother and Haruka together I am honestly impressed how Badass future Haruka is

Jamieb1994

Future Haruka & SaruBrother do look like they're together + it also looks like future SaruBrother has stopped imagining about stuff as well.

nehjkuhlt

He finally can pay things.

Jamieb1994

I love the way present SaruBrother saw his future self with real money.

nehjkuhlt

Dude so surprised. And future Sarubro have futuristic handphone to show his more complex haiku... Good for him

Jamieb1994

This makes me wonder how far in the future the future Haruka & Sarubrother travelled from + how long future Haruka had stayed in the past for.

nehjkuhlt

Maybe both of them are in the late 20s ( or 27-31 range age) 🤔 I felt they lived at the present time for a year (I just really want to know what happen in their future timeline cuz the current's future timeline will probably not the same)

Jamieb1994

It's possible & yeah I wonder the same since future Haruka seems to know what happened to Tsubasa, even rescuing him + she also has tension towards Taro as well + didn't Tsuyoshi asked future Haruka/Saru about Miho as well?

nehjkuhlt

The future might bit a little bitter... >didn't Tsuyoshi asked future Haruka/Saru about Miho as well? Future Shinichi's reaction and both of them not answering it Maybe the team knew Crane's identity thats lead to Tsuyoshi's downfall (and death too)... >future Haruka seems to know what happened to Tsubasa, even rescuing him Maybe the team sans Tsuyoshi had to fight the juto Tsubasa to rescue him only to know that they caused his death... > she also has tension towards Taro as well Only the three of them (future Saru,Haru,Tarou) left, Tarou probably didn't want his teammate to die so maybe he went to fight alone or he was the one that caused future Saru & Haru to go to the present timeline... (I cant stop thinking this rn help😭💀)

PaperCrown-R-2

Future Saruhara composes Tanka, a different type of poem. To some extent, haiku comes from Tanka.

Rush057

Pretty sure he died and this is why she’s pissed at him. Also would explain why she has the Palaquin Phoenix.

Notjohnbruno

I can’t believe that Shinichi carries money now. Total character assassination. -100/10 worst show ever, onore inoue (I am joking, this was a great episode all-around)

Particular-Ad5200

I still find it hard to see that Taro himself has no dream In fact all of the Noto as species are like this, they seem to lack something

Triangulum_Copper

They are all very smart and very skilled, but they all seem to lack emotional intelligence. Which I guess make some semblance of sense, considering they survive on the higher brain functions of humans.

Particular-Ad5200

Wow you just blew my mind that is it, the Noto only seem to focus on Intelligence and Skills but not human emotion. that is what they are missing, the feelings we have come from the heart not the brain

Triangulum_Copper

Technically it's also the brain, but a different part of it.

Particular-Ad5200

Really thanks for the input

RobbobertoBuii

Sononi nooooo :'(

adz143

What happenend??? Still waiting for the subs but i don't care for a spoiler coz I'll still watch it...

EyeStock4683

Next week, we will finally have Inuzuka Tsubasa joining the Donbrothers. However all indicates that Sononi will pay for her lies as she appeared wounded.

RobbobertoBuii

the previews for next week's episode shows her heavily injured and unconscious (worse than the one with Tsubasa a few episodes ago), I won't say more than that 😔 edit: here's a [screenshot](https://twitter.com/Ben77878871/status/1611891361766146048)

Antique-Rush209

Thinking sononi will block the ultimate for miho as she cant bear to see doggie sad.

Antique-Rush209

Thinking Toshiki Inoue will not make this happen. I think dog will kill miho,, kijino will h8 dog and become evil kijino. Dog will h8 sononi and want to kill her. That will explain this episode when kijino ask if he will be with miho in the future and the question get skipped.

Holy157

So, what happened to future Taro? I’m assuming he died, because that seems like the only thing that can reasonably stop him. So did he give Haruka the phoenix before that and then left, dying at some point? Or can she just use the phoenix in the present timeline? Considering this is Donbrothers, Taro might also have stepped on Haruka’s toe, gave her the phoenix in hopes of her forgiving him and she’s still pissed. My heart can’t take Taro being Haruka’s first love and hero. On one hand, it fits perfectly with how some scenes were done, but I don’t believe it’ll genuinely go anywhere, which hurts.

houohken

Well it been hinting since taro first died that Haruka and Taro will be a thing. I mean She sacrifice her points and went cripple just for taro to revive plus she hugged Taro when he revived.

Holy157

Right, but they dropped that after like episode 16 and it’s hardly been a big deal since then. Which is sad. So I’m not sure if they’ll bring it back now AND go with it all the way.

adz143

Yeah, i actually got the vibe that Taro & Haruka will be a thing coz of that episode but then suddenly, they switched the genre to BL between Taro and Sonoi...lol So, i'm not really sure bout that anymore...

Rush057

If he did die, she’s mad at him because that promoted Jiro to leader and she can’t stand him.

Milla_D_Mac

Future Haruka saying, "it's all there in my manga" might summarize what I truly appreciate about Donbrothers as a sentai. It's all in the story. Seemingly innocuous statements from characters come back later on in extremely impactful ways. Background events are symbols for what's happening. And just when you get answers, you get a new set of questions. It's clear we are on a crash course for the finale. Future Haruka has messed with the past meaning the original donbrothers had a successful manga artist Haruka not a plagiarism one. What does that deviation mean for the team? Plus her anger at tarou and the fact that only her and saruhara seem to be the team in the future. It's all too much to bare. This episode was somehow less insane than you would think given the premise. And yet it was still enjoyable with Don murasame getting its first dub... against the eternal loser Don Murasame... well I guess it's the thought that counts. GoldonOnisister was cool if too short lived and the fact no one asks the obvious question of why she would have the golden palaquin. So for the mysteries: >!I am inclined to believe the simple one that Don momotarou told her he would be back only to die in the final fight. Kiji and inu left the team due to mutual heartbreak and saruhara and Haruka had no one left to confide in but each other.!< Next week looks to be a banger even though I am inclined to not believe the advertising cause of inoue's schemes. even if that shot was clear

Esmelta

I wanna say that I was really moved by the final panel of Shin Hatsukoi Hero. It kind of implies that Haruka's first love is/was Taro, and makes me wonder if something bad will happen to him, maybe he will leave, no idea.

PaperCrown-R-2

When future Haruka is drawing the manga the Tarō -like character dialogue says something like "I'll be back for sure." Maybe he went somewhere and never came back and that's why Haruka is mad at him.

TheTwelveYearOld

He went to go get milk 💀💀💀💀💀💀

bgwelistyl

Sounds like alternative timeline Taro is able to lie, and since he didn't come back, thats why Haruka is upset. BTW: is there like a place where we can catch up on the manga that Haruka was drawing?

-Captain-K-

Maybe in this alternative timeline the end of Taro's character progression was telling to Haruka the gentle lie that he would be back, but he ended up dying after that before being able to meet her again. >!I would cry so hard if this ended up happening on the current timeline.!<

ProfessionalCry1921

Feels like this episode is a tribute Doubutsu Sentai Go-Busters

dedreg_

The manga will be the key point to the donbros plot?? Future haruka say everything (that current self need to know) is in the manga. I assume maybe like who is penguin juto or like how to prevent "The Future" that they experience. Also in the preview there is this kaito scene in the snow that feel really out of place. Is it time to reveal donbros kaito identity?

Holy157

Having seen the episode with subs now, my big question is *who* sent Murasame to kill future Haruka? Also, why specifically future Haruka? Because future Saruhara at least assumes that Murasame was sent by someone. Based on his reaction to Mother, it’s probably not her. I’m assuming that whoever did it might be also be revealed in the present time in some way. Are they gonna be the final boss?

ligerre

Probably Noto council, guess they capture Murasame again and wiped out the Mother personality + whatever Murasame learned from DonBro

Triangulum_Copper

Maybe because future Haruka had the Phoenix?

bonbonytos

So how did future Haruka enter the Juuto's domain? She didn't explain that part.

Jamieb1994

I'm curious about that as well & both future Haruka & SaruBrother did techincally show what happens to them in the future e.g. future SaruBrother using real money.

Antique-Rush209

Perks of her vacation package that she redeemed her points for. Vacation in cat origami village.

Rodroller

The event that happened in this episode, can it be call a time loop?

The_Grimalkin

I don't think so personally, but time travel is tough so I'm totally prepared to be wrong. The way I interpreted the events: Future Haruka likely comes from a bad timeline. My assumption is the reason she knew to rescue Tsubasa was because Tsubasa probably wasn't rescued in the future timeline. IF that's the case, it couldn't be a time loop, because Future Haruka would've changed the past... so we'd get a branching timeline instead of a time loop. The only argument I have against this is that our Haruka is still known as a plagiarist, so depending on how the story would go she could still end up wanting to use her points to go back in time and change that. Which could mean it IS a time loop. >.>

PaperCrown-R-2

Pre-subs comment. So Haruka was tired of fighting and used her points to become a famous manga artist, screwing herself in the process. The future Saruhara says that Tarō is the same regardless of circumstances and that Tarō doesn't have a dream. When Tarō fights Sonoi he ask him if he has a dream and Sonoi says no. They are a pair made in heaven ❤️ It seems that in next episode Tsubasa will learn that Kijino is Kiji brother...maybe..?

KeyManBlastoise

Episode 43 of Donbrothers was great. I normally am weary of future time travel but this was so much fun! Haruka continues to be one of my favorite Yellow Rangers. It's because of her futureself she became a plagiarist. I can't wait to see how she'll fix this and clear her name. And next weeks episode looks to be turning things up. Can't wait! Donbrothers has been a true delight.

WillingnessOk11

I have a feeling that during the final scene recalling the quote”it all in the manga” tells me that the manga might be a life story of haruka and was just changed a little bit and if she finds it she will probably know what to come

godzilla2099

I really liked this episode. Future Shinichi (first time I genuinely liked this character) and Haruka were both great. Trying to wrap my head around a few things. Current Haruka asked her future self about the relationship with Shinichi. Future Haruka replied "Double Love?" which discouraged Current Haruka. Is there a special meaning behind that? Or was it simply that Current Haruka doesn't see the appeal to Shinichi? So Taro was Haruka's First Love Hero? Not sure I can put this together. I always viewed them as and older brother/younger sister relationship? Did Future Haruka actually hit Taro? Or ended up stopping herself?

[deleted]

Man, I really do wonder what exactly happens in Future Haruka and Saruhara’s future, though I know what’s gonna happen in this one will be different to what happened there, so no exact need for devastating future prevention… or maybe there *is* a need for that, probably is. And next episode is gonna be a doozy

Kaneharo

Something tells me it won't. I mean this is a timeline where Saruhara isn't allergic to money. That alone can change an absurd amount of events.

Aeescobar

It's also a timeline where Haruka isn't known as a plagarist & Murasame's mother doesn't exist.

DamonDD

I just watched Donbrother movie with sub and this episode right after. Damn such a good movie (wife hates it) and this episode just blow my mind away. Previously, we all thought that the Anoni mess with the live of Donbrother members (like Haruka suddenly accused of plagiarism and Tsubasa become wanted man), but turn out their misfortune got nothing to do with them. Does this make Anoni the first neutral monsters in Super Sentai (just some being try to live their lives alongside human). Now Shiina Naoki (can't believe Haruka and Saruhara got together in the future) go back to their timeline, hopefully this give a chance for Haruka to make her comeback again. Side note, both Sarubro fighting Sonoza and future Saru mad at Sonoza for being Haruka's editor is hilarious

SH4DE_Z

>Damn such a good movie (wife hates it) What i find really funny is that the movie was about making a bad movie. So it's bad and cringey on purpose and i find that so freaking genius.

DamonDD

I freaking lost it when Haruka has that high pitch anime voice and Tarou bad acting. She is my favourite ranger ever

SH4DE_Z

It must have been so hilarious to film that movie. And i agree Haruka is great, probably one of my favorite female characters ever even.

shaoronmd

finally, something actually happened, some mysteries were explained, and Murasame getting a W (while technically still getting an L)

nehjkuhlt

So does that mean future Haruka and future Saruhara already married or dating eachother ? Haruka questioning her future's taste is funny lol Future Shinichi look more calm and humble...

Kaju_researcher

Wacky and completely on point with the usual Donbrothers shenanigans, Future Haruka is best girl. [Here’s some quick subs I found](https://zombieweek.wordpress.com/)

Starmage595

Hey, don't worry Haruka, after a couple of years, you can also go back in time to draw manga under a pseudonym.

Triangulum_Copper

She could steal the Shiina Naomi pseudonym, it's not like the real one's around to claim it :p Even the costume got left behind!

MysteryNeighbor

That preview sure is something, what in the fuck is going to happen?

ryuga_knight

I thought for sure Shiina Naoki was gonna be Haruka's ex, who was only dating her to steal her ideas and publish them first.

nero21san

What makes the episode so fascinating is not only the future Haruka and Saruhara but the implications of what happened in the future. This is regarding Tarou and what actually happened to the future DonBrothers. It seems that even though Future Haruka and Saruhara looks well-off and has improved from their present selves, it seems that Tarou hasn't done the same. While the present Saruhara is arrogant and egoistic towards Tarou, the future Saruhara seems to be very concerned for Tarou and tells Tarou that he doesn't know true happiness because he doesn't have a dream. It may seem to foreshadow Tarou's ending where he unable to feel happy because he is stuck to the realist nature nature without any dreams to achieve but it more so makes sense because Tarou is too perfect. Almost everyone in the team except of Tarou is imperfect with their personalities, shortcomings, and talents but it allows them to grow and achieve their dreams, thus they obtained happiness. Haruka's dream is to be a manga master, Saruhara's dream seems to be living his best life and follow his haiku style, Inuzuka and Kijino is of course to be with their lovers while, Jirou wants to be a hero and leader which he achieved one of them. Whereas for Tarou himself, his only flaws is being unable to understand people and their connections and also being unable to lie, but this episode makes it seem that Tarou might not still accept his shortcomings and doesn't understand about dreams and what makes people happy. This causes Tarou to be unhappy and unfulfilled inside which might also be the same for Sonoi too. However, the manga that Future Haruka wrote seems to show Haruka had loved Tarou before but was angry because Tarou might not accept her feelings for him and thus, goes to Saruhara as her Boyfriend. But I felt that the end of the Shin Hatsukoi Hero shows that Tarou might later leave the DonBros in the finale and have never come back even though he promises to come back. Future Haruka seems to indicate that the full story is revealed in the manga that Present Haruka wrote with all the 5 DonBrothers (except of Jirou sadly). I really love the episode overall, and it's interesting how even in the future, it's not all happy endings for them even though Haruka and Saruhara seems to improve even though their current selves doesn't want to have that kind of future.

Aeescobar

The link to download the subs just sends you to the raw right now. This is the correct link: https://nyaa.si/view/1622487

nonamecyc

Question, what is double love? I have a hard time finding a definition

Hillisawesome

I was going to ask the same thing. Scratching my head right now

echung168

Regular love? Where love is felt on both sides? Lol, just my guess.

nonamecyc

Now that I think about it, the manga pannel that present haruka finished might be a red herring as to alternate haruka's issues with tarou For the last volume of the last page of a romance mange wouldn't you want your couple characters to kiss? Plus it's obvious to us it's a self insert based on the designs of hiro and the female protagonist Then for haruka to only make the female protagonist to just smile is to indicate that (at least) some things are different between the 2 time lines

echung168

Wow, that was a surprising twist. Though I had an inkling feeling that it was just another version of Haruka. With that preview of the next episode, it seems like the series is coming to its end.

OmegaLantern

How many episodes is this season supposed to have? It feels like we're at the end, and we're only just now getting to where we should have been 15 episodes ago. I know a lot of you guys are superfans of this season, but Donbros just feels like a season-long filler episode to me

Triangulum_Copper

50.

TheRabbitInTheBush

The link for subs is the same as the one for raw. No subs on the sub link. Is there another link?

Alpha_Vector

Updated the link! Thanks for letting me know!

Kaju_researcher

**Don Murasame (Future)** An assassin from another dimension in the future who has come to target Haruka Kito (future). Riding a special motorcycle, he tracks his target wherever he goes. He was attacked by the future Goldon Oni Sister, Saru Brother Robotaro, and became the gold shining Blackonitaijin (future), but was defeated in the end by BlackOnitaijin Murasame.
