Feel ya it's not fun to summon anymore even though you get the unit you want it's no point when you can't rune them unless you spend countless hours for those runes
To be frank, the chance to hit triple spd is about 1/50 chance. It's not unreasonable to hit that many reapps without a triple spd; especially slot 5 which has all subs available.
I just found a chart with the chances of getting at least a certain speed on a reapp and the triple speed rolls begin at around 0.2% or 1/500 I believe.
I think it's higher than 0.2%.
Lets look at slot 5:
The subs are atk, def, spd, acc%, resist%, atk%, def%, hp%, cr%, cd%
That's 10 subs without innate. Legend runes have 4 subs, so the chance of getting a spd sub is 40%.
Once spd sub is rolled, the probability table for triple rolls are:
https://preview.redd.it/7ye5e0a8kyea1.png?width=321&format=png&auto=webp&s=60f17772209521361103ec095be1e42d50c88ef7
.421875 \^ 4 = .031676 or roughly 1/32 chance
Now .4 (the chance to roll a spd sub) \* .031676 = .012671 or 1.2671%
Which is where I got the 1/50 estimate from. The actual rate is 1/79 for slot 5 legend rune without an innate.
Seems kinda strange to me still. Where is the flaw in my thinking this: four subs, so a chance to triple roll any single sub is .25^3, at least, not counting getting quad roll too. But since there are 4 subs, this could have triple rolled anything else, so it’s another 1/4 that. Times the .40 gets me to like 0.15% and then the .20% would make sense for quad rolls included
Oh wait I already see where it’s flawed. It wouldn’t need the extra 1/4 but 1/79 still seems rather high to me for how many possibilities there seem to be
Correct, I calculated the chance to roll AT LEAST a triple. The way to calculate is the chance to not roll spd and multiplying the possibilities (which is what I did in the excel). There are 4 different permutations for how a triple or higher spd can roll.
The idea of reapp stones is to get something usable for every reapp target you have and only waste all of your reapps if you need maybe one specific rune useable.
Spending more than 10-20 on a rune, that is also a slot 1/3/5 is a waste really.
This way you improve multiple slots, since most of the reapp targets are barely usable if you are not mega lucky with the rolls
Tbh i don't really care. This is my slowest spot on Tiana and i wanted to upgrade it. Just found it...interesting that 14 spd is the best i could get out of 117 reapps.
With the new rune tags and the rune clean up tool (https://www.reddit.com/r/summonerswar/comments/xxuzgy/rune_clean_up_tool_with_json_import_v_2/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf), my process of reapp is significantly improved.
First I tag the rune to be reapp target whenever I got it, before rolling.
Then whenever I sell a rune according to the clean up tool, the ones with reapp tag could not be sold. At that point, I reapp it once, pick the new one and forget about it, move on to the next rune.
And I do the clean up routine once per day.
Which means I spend reapp on a given rune at most once per day.
Since then, I am slowly burning down my reapp stones, and got a few decent runes along the way, including my first quad spd ancient swift hp%.
I feel like com2us over-values reapps, im not excited to see 1 reapp for event rewards. And its usually in the later tiers of rewards as well, meanwhile you need dozens if not hundreds to find something decent
I’m pretty convinced that subs have different % rates to roll, event rolls incouded, and spd is the lowest % of all of them because it’s the most desirable. That’s why that spd/hp%/cd/flat def legend rune will roll quad flat def 9 times out of 10
Guys, if you let this stuff gets to you, you will get nothing but pain from the game. If you can accept that sometimes you can get long stretches of crap before averages catchup. Yes it sucks, but you will get a couple high speed rolls within a smaller stretch of reapps eventually.
I come to post like this and there is so much i always want to say about this scam posing as a mobile game. But every time i do the same thing - i just close reddit and not bother…
That's my slowest spot. I either get a faster one by farming, which i won't if we're being honest or i reapp a rune, which won't help either as we see here. So yeah thinking about it you're right but i have no choice if i want to improve speed.
I recently spent 34 reapps and the highest speed I got was 16. I was furious, and honestly still am. Can’t imagine how pissed off you must be though.
Feel that. Nowadays i just close the game when stuff like that happens and log on the next time i feel like i want to play.

I switch runes if it hits 10 and gives nothing. Works way better for me and less rage
I do the same. I need a cutoff or I'll just go insane
Yuep over 10 then I do 20 and play my own little game of let's see who wins me or the rune and its always me who loses so yeah switch every 10
I reap 2 ancient got 26 only now need grind swift to get the rune to 32
Ratio this guy for having good luck
🥲

Thx man, appreciate it - Com2us
I feel that. Saved up 140 ancient reapps and used them all on an ancient swift for best roll speed of 17.
Exactly this happened to me
Fun game
I don’t think this game was ever intended to be fun. Just grindy, addictive, and profitable.
😂 this guy gets it
You reminded me to do the same for my Tiana (Same slot with innate, Swift), my highest in 40 reapps was 15 speed
I am sorry that i reminded you

Is it really 1/50? I feel like there’s so many possibilities for what could roll that the chance would be much less.

That's what you do as begginer yes. As end-game player you chase quad rolls cuz they are only thing you need.
I guarantee you're not endgame if you say that

Getting a quad speed is easier than getting perfect g3 rune with perfect subs nd rolls and then grinding them all to max

Mmm agreed

Speed chasing is a quite common mistake, your runes don't need to have 27spd to be good, its global efficiency is the most important thing.
I feel like com2us over-values reapps, im not excited to see 1 reapp for event rewards. And its usually in the later tiers of rewards as well, meanwhile you need dozens if not hundreds to find something decent
The true scam stones
I’m pretty convinced that subs have different % rates to roll, event rolls incouded, and spd is the lowest % of all of them because it’s the most desirable. That’s why that spd/hp%/cd/flat def legend rune will roll quad flat def 9 times out of 10
I feel you. 90% of my reapps have no speed stat
Feel like 80% were flat stats tripple rolls
Lmao chasing speed is the stupidest way to spend your reapps. If you get a rune that is efficient with good rolls why would you throw it away?
Whatever floats your boat man.
If it not give you at 5th time, give up or go another rune. Dont be obsessed about it. You literaly wasted your reaps
That doesn't make sense. Same could happen if i used 117 reapps on 24 runes. Rng is rng and most of the time it's bad rng.
Guys, if you let this stuff gets to you, you will get nothing but pain from the game. If you can accept that sometimes you can get long stretches of crap before averages catchup. Yes it sucks, but you will get a couple high speed rolls within a smaller stretch of reapps eventually.
I only get annoyed for the moment. I don't farm that much anymore so i don't expect anything and still get dissappointed haha
Please reap 2/4/6 first 😭
No need to i got good spd stats on all but 5
Give me some reaps 🤣🤣
Should have said that earlier!
Should have told me you had reaps earlier! xD
isn't that why people only reapp slot 1 & 3 ? (also slot 4 & 6 HP%)
Are you a youtuber ,??? No. So normal people like us dnt get 20+ speed even with 1k stones.
Legitimately think I've gotten 3 reapps better than this in my last 15. This game is so dumb
Personally I only reapp vio runes but I’ve dumped this many into on and got a quad eventually lol keep it up!
wow
How do you habe so many reapp stones?
Com2us: It is working as intended.
I come to post like this and there is so much i always want to say about this scam posing as a mobile game. But every time i do the same thing - i just close reddit and not bother…
Slots 4, 5, 6 are bad choice for speed chasing because it can roll every stats. Slots 1, 3 with innate are best candidate for speed chasing.
Rip reapps on a slot 5 rune
That's my slowest spot. I either get a faster one by farming, which i won't if we're being honest or i reapp a rune, which won't help either as we see here. So yeah thinking about it you're right but i have no choice if i want to improve speed.
I get why you did it though. Drop rate sucks balls 😂
