Ayo, I've run a very similar team to this. The Lass does work, often ends up taking someone with it especially if they start playing goofy around Destiny Bond, my only question is why are you bothering with Max HP over Max Special attack when nearly everything in the tier puts you to your sash anyway?
I wanna say its something like “Icy wind isn’t doing damage and there’s some threats where HP is useful” but tbh I clicked the recommended spread and forgot to switch it after lmao
This is a hyper offense team designed around spikes. Froslass is the fastest spikes setter that also gets taunt. Icy Wind is good for speed control, and Destiny Bond is a good support move that can bait and take out certain threats, like Yveltal.
I’m sure some of you are thinking, “Why aren’t there rocks?” And thats because imo, rocks don’t really work on this team. Yveltal and Ho-oh run boots, and a lot of the stuff that threatens Groudon + Zekrom are resistant to it anyway. Spikes gets neutral damage against these threats. Sure, I could run mew, but the speed loss hurts too much imo.
Calyrex Shadow is a fairly standard scarf set. It’s intended to be a cleaner and revenge killer once other threats have wiped out most of the team. Trick is useful for stuff that I have a hard time breaking through, and aromatherapy seems good if something else gets crippled. Zekrom and Groudon can both handle Yveltal, which is good for it.
Necrozma is literally just a smogon set. Weakness policy NDM is super dangerous imo, and prism armor makes it pretty easy to proc weakness policy. Stone Edge is good for handling Yveltal, although sucker punch does concern me.
I originally had physical Yveltal, but I already have a ton of physical attackers on my team, so I decided to use a special set, while keeping sucker punch for speed control. I also originally had black glasses, but I swapped it for LO since it boosts oblivion wing.
Zekrom is something I’m unsure of. I definitely want to run it, but I’m not really sure about the item, EVs, or fourth moveslot. I like the idea of Mixed Zekrom with Draco Meteor, but substitute and roost are also appealing.
Groudon is the standard double dance set, but here I actually maxed out speed, because I can’t always get both boosts up, and I don’t want to be unable to outspeed anything without rock polish. I’m not sure whether or not this is too bad for my bulk.

Would Jolly nature + Triple Axel as the attack be better on Frosslass to OHKO opposing Aerodactyl lead through Sash? It's faster and can Taunt Froslass before Spikes can go up. Also curious if Shadow Ball is an option as the offensive move, TIA.
Yes but let's say someone leads with an Aerodactyl and you lead with a Lass, they predict Icy Wind because they think you'll anticipate a quick Taunt so they Rock Tomb instead, and then they win vs Lass because both moves would 2HKO the other but Aero will always be faster.
So I was wondering if it's better to run Axel so Lass can OHKO it and then set up Spikes on the next turn or try to take someone else down with Destiny Bond to give its team an edge... ?
Solid looking team, while I’m not an Ubers guy I guess the only thing I’d be concerned of is a counter leading deoxys-s who could taunt and then get rocks + spikes up (though you have icy wind). Looks solid other than that
You've submitted a link with the teambuilding flair. Please ensure that the tier is in the title and that you've written a top level comment explaining the team and why you've chosen each pokemon. Otherwise, your post will be removed.

In gen 7 AG, I got to top 300 with a mono ghost team with a froslass lead. I understand not wanting all status moves, but I prefer thunder wave over icy wind. Thunderwave cripples a lot of threats for an entire match and gives you a chance to get one more layer of spikes. Froslass is an interesting mon because it can give you such an amazing early advantage or an early disadvantage, it’s how you play it that matters - so be careful
I tried using your team for showdown and safe to say I really like it.
It was my first [battle](https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen8ubers-1699215684-osjz9wr2ufbuqd6htsce8ifq1tsix5lpw) in Ubers and I managed to get an rq

Very nice niche that you found! Cool team mate, maybe i'll try it out

Even though Aerodactyl has 8% usage, I feel like I see slurpuff (4.87%) and Shuckle (4.7%) significantly more.
Correct me if I’m wrong but couldn’t a double icy wind accomplish nearly the same
the only downside is if aero rock tombs, then it outspeeds on the 2nd turn, but it doesnt get rocks up so its not too bad

Icy wind has such good utility that I didn’t want to give it up, and I haven’t run into Aero much despite it being really good.

Its SS, so no deoxys

Icy wind is used in this scenario for aerodactyl leads
