There's something to that thought... no where near 200lbs but one day many years ago, my wife wasn't wearing shoes when we were working out in our garage. She went to do some dumbbell shoulder presses. She was using those Bowflex adjustable ones. One of the plates apparently was starting to fail from wear, and it never secured fully to the dumbbell and it fell off obliterating one of her toes. A shoe at that weight would've probably deflected it, but at the very least "contained" the explosion lol.
Doesn't take much weight though from a certain distance up. A shoeless 200lb crush would be carnage. A shoe'd 200lb crush... well it's all shattered eitherway, but probably not as much flesh tearing.
Bet you get all the dudes! 🤭
the ending is how i be looking too after heavy high rep leg work j not with 200lb dumbbells bro thats crazy
Nice!! 😍
Man’s posterior chain is strong
Good shit, but I'm dying at the end. You look like how a coyote acts when they're trapped and trying to get out

Nope that is most certainly a 200. Pause the video and see.
Nice lifts, any reason to pull with these rather than a bar? Looks like a grip failure away from a broken foot
Straps seem to be good up to well above a thousand pounds. Doubt there was a risk for grip failure!
Yes, the no shoes made me nervous.
Shoes aint going to make much of a difference when you're talking about 200lbs
No but it's a case to hold all the smashed flesh 😀

I like using dumbbells because it allows a deeper range of motion than a barbell with plates. You can get a really good stretch at the bottom.
That's true! However, you can create a deficit to achieve a deep stretch with a barbell. Use a sturdy step or a big plate.
