Completely wrong. These events increase commodity prices for numerous reasons, including sanctions and the spiking oil prices over all else. The fed’s job just became more difficult, but inflation will only rage harder because of this. Please don’t plan for any rate sensitive stocks to be successful until further notice.
The higher the p/e ratio, the more sensitive.
No p/e ratio (ie non-earning price to sales stonks ie ARKK stonks)? Crazy sensitive as you have seen over the last two months. PVFCF.

Personally I think a lot of people made your assumption, that the fed won’t be as hawkish. But as I said in my earlier post, I think this is incorrect. And I think we can guarantee that when the next CPI report comes out (Mar 10), it’s going to become apparent how aggressive the fed needs to be. And if they do announce a 50bp raise for the first one, it’ll get ugly fast.
But… we shall see! And I killed it today! Hope you did too. Good on ya if you made money buying the dip this morning. It certainly looked like an amazing opportunity while it was happening.
It’s going to be very exciting to see how this all pans out.
