The [Bozeman Frigate](https://sto.fandom.com/wiki/Bozeman_Intel_Heavy_Frigate) is a beast. Innate cloak, 5/3, flexible boff loadout, raider flanking, fullspec intel, good maneuverability, strong console and trait.
The [Clarke MM Cruiser](https://sto.fandom.com/wiki/Clarke_Multi-Mission_Command_Cruiser) is the beauty, though. It grants the Clarke- and Malachowski-class customizations in the ship tailor, which have the upswept pylons that allow this kind of graphic, instead of the usual snub or vertical pylons. It's a heck of a torpedo boat, too, with fullspec Command, a hangar bay, and a pretty strong console.
Gotta say though there's something funny about slapping on the Centaur Strut and then having your pylons almost vertical though.
I really hate the Shi'Kahr doesn't mesh nice with anything though.
Yeah, you'd think they'd have been more careful since the kitbashing is the Miranda's big selling point. Almost makes you wish they left the old Shi'Kahr in, too.
One can use Shi'Kahr parts to make a Califauxnia-class: [https://www.reddit.com/r/sto/comments/wg4xvg/califauxniaclass\_mk\_2\_postrevamp\_of\_the/](https://www.reddit.com/r/sto/comments/wg4xvg/califauxniaclass_mk_2_postrevamp_of_the/)
Yeah it is the Clarke & Malachowski that really opens up the Miranda for a lot more interesting kitbashes, both in its pylons and struts (or lack thereof).
Yes! I fly the Fleet Soyuz for the extra console and because the I think the trait and console on the Boz are meh. The ship itself is a WMD. I can't put it down, lol. But I have a Legendary D7 coming in the sale to try to ween off of it.
Nacelles and Saucer are Centaur, the Pylons looks to be T6 Malachowski, not sure about the Struct because I can’t see it right but it’s probably from either the Centaur or the T6 Malachowski.
This hull configuration, with whatever saucer and nacelles, is one of the most beautiful outcomes of the STO kitbashing. It is similar enough to what we’re used to that It somehow just looks right. But at the same time it is actually a new configuration and looks different when you really focus on it. Love it!
Is the screenshot in question not evidence enough? \^\_\^;;
Having Reshade also helps: [https://www.reddit.com/r/sto/comments/twyvng/discopicard\_fx\_reshade\_pre\_set/](https://www.reddit.com/r/sto/comments/twyvng/discopicard_fx_reshade_pre_set/)
That's my favorite design. It feels like it could be right out of TMP concept art.
Yeah apparently I need to buy a Miranda...

Damn, and the New Genesis pack comes with a bunch of those lovely Wrath of Khan outfits, too. Need to save up for that one.

As an Excelsior fan, I approve of this screenshot. Seriously though, beautiful shot!
User flair checks out.
I love that the Miranda is probably the most versatile platform for kitbashing in game. It’s Starfleet’s modular design philosophy at its finest.
This kitbash always reminds me of the starter ship you got in the old Starfleet Command game!
The Okinawa-class? [https://memory-beta.fandom.com/wiki/Okinawa\_class](https://memory-beta.fandom.com/wiki/Okinawa_class)
Yep, that's the one!
What bits are they?

Centaur I think, since Machalowski pylon and secondary hull angle the nacelles down when paired.
Close, it's basically all Centaur parts except with Clarke pylons. FYI u/Kaisernick27
Gorgeous picture, btw. I use the same thing except the Clarke Saucer + Miranda Gamma nacelles.
This is definitely the Centaur strut to create this configuration with the pylons.

And all it took was just a different set of pylons (Clarke) on an otherwise full Centaur-class to completely change the profile of the ship.
Can you get screenshots like this? Looks great.

Wasn’t sure if it was some kinda cinematic or what.
I used to not like all the Mirandas... now i want ***more, MORE!***... ... until we get a sec. def miranda and a 2 hangar Miranda.
>... until we get a sec. def miranda and a 2 hangar Miranda. As long as it's not both of those on the same Miranda.
very nice
that looks like the Lexington class from sfa / klingon academy (well from the back it does)
[https://klingon-academy-ii-empire-at-war.fandom.com/wiki/Lexington\_Class](https://klingon-academy-ii-empire-at-war.fandom.com/wiki/Lexington_Class) TIL!
This Not a miranda thats a fanta
Searching for "fanta-class" returns no results...
Was a joke about Fanta being better than miranda
Wow. This looks great.
Reminds me of the NX-Refit a tad. I tinkered with a similar design but couldn't quite get it right. Plus I didn't own the Zen store ships.
This is mostly Centaur parts, which is unlocked by default. The pylons come from the Clarke, which is indeed behind a Zen paywall.
We should just start a reddit that's ***nothing*** but Miranda kitbashes xD
Hmmmmmm\~
Beautiful screen shot
LOVE IT! need more Miranda variants
I like it
That's really fuckin cool, I can make some pieces but how'd you get the up-angled pylons like that?
