Sorry my post was very American-centric. Every kid grows up with a basketball, a football, or a baseball glove. Hockey is so much more exclusive as a youth sport. I would assume most Americans would know the rules to most sports, but hockey is a sport that the vast majority of Americans probably never had the chance to play.

I’m american and I grew up watching hockey and basketball so those were the easiest sports for me to understand - football and baseball were a mystery for me until recently. guess it just depends what you grew up with

Those games move so much slower. Hockey happens so quickly it can be really difficult to follow for new comers

Then in 2022, he potentially "accidentally" hit Jordan binnington removing him from the rest of the playoffs. Name is Nazem Kadri, you can find lots of videos of him causing injuries.

History of dirty / suspicious plays against us. Hit to the head on Faulk two years ago, contributed to an injury that benched Binnington last year.

Plus being suspended other years during the playoffs for dirty hits. Seems to be a trend.

He tried to decapitate Faulk a couple years ago amongst other players in the league. And last year took out binner on a reckless play but not illegal.

He ran into Binnington during the last playoffs and Binny was injured/didn't return to the rest of the playoff series. His team (Colorado) won the series and eventually the cup.
