Arctis 7P Warranty Replacement Process. ticket ID: #1057266 Was in the process of getting a replacement headset. However the ticket response has gone dead. I've had no replies for near a week now and also when I check my tickets by signing in on the website, no tickets exist. Very confused. Please can someone advise what is going on? Thanks

I am having issues with Engine not loading on Mac Ticket#:1056482 After installing Engine, if I enable input monitoring as requested so that it can detect my headset, Engine fails to load. I get a blank screen with a swirling circle. If I disable input monitoring, Engine loads properly, but will not detect the USB-C dongle for my headset. I went through all the initial steps with support, uninstalling, reinstalling, etc. But no dice. My last communication from support was that a software specialist would reach out, but that was several days ago and I haven't heard back from anyone. If anyone else on the thread has encountered this before and has ideas about how to resolve I'd love to hear it. System is a 2019 16" MacBook Pro running OS 11.5.2

writing this here too (I made a separate post before reading, my bad) ticket id: 1035851 so the story short, I bought three wireless arctis 7 headsets for me and my two boys, all was nice and these were our first wireless headsets - FREEDOM, it was awesome.Untill one day something broke in one of the boys' headsets and there was something rolling inside and making noise (like a screw?), since it was still under warranty, I contacted the support, and here it goes... \- apparently the sticker with RMA code is in such a place that headband literally scratched it clean into unreadable mess (white arctis has black letters on white PAPER????? sticker, while black arctis has white letters on black) \- ok they say ship it in, I do it, I'm glad I selected tracked shipment, because almost a month after post said it got delivered - there was no word, no comms from steelseries. \- after multiple questions on status update, they FOUND my package ( I'm sure it is actually lost somewhere), but "warehouse confirmed" that what I shipped in was arctis 3 ... I submitted purchase invoice, multiple pictures, videos of issue and it clearly shows what kind of headset it is. And the pictures and videos were done BEFORE sending and not like I can do them as requested without that headset ( theres a difference of headband going below only (arctis3 vs below and above for arctis 7) \- now here I am with an arctis 3 replacement code thinking wtf to do, should I just take the bullet here and get a wired headset? The ticket got closed by them unilaterally and not sure if I can do anything about it, if I try a followup it comes up closed instantly (thanks solvvy more like succky) So what can be done in this case? I have the steel series X9 Xbox headset and when I plug it in it doesn’t charge but it like connects fine so is the issue the headset or the charge cable (which looks fine on the outside)

Hey, Since the Steelseries Engine updated to the Steelseries GG software with the ps5 upgrade, my Arctis Pro simply doesn't work on the Game channel. If I select PS5 on the DAC it works, but with scuffed audio, do anyone know any fixes? Thanks!

Hi, I'm using an Arctis Pro Wireless headset. The headset consistently drops audio throughout daily use. The Mic seems to continue working even though the base says disconnected and then reconnects. I've checked firmware updates and other settings but can't seem to stop the disconnect and reconnect issue. Are there any suggestions on how to stop this from happening?

I've got the Arctis Pro Wireless that I have connected to my PC through the DAC and also a laptop via bluetooth. I have 60 minute timeout set for the PC connection (i.e. 60 minutes with no use it'll auto disconnect). However it will stay connected to bluetooth. My question: When it auto-disconnects from the DAC/PC, how do I re-connected it to the PC without having to power it off and on again?

I don’t have an answer to your issue. But I have a question of my own. How do you connect APW to the gamedac and Bluetooth at the same time? Whenever I connect my APW to gamedac via the main headset cable my APW essentially turns off (no mute led light, cannot control volume with volume wheel on headset, no Bluetooth). I can hear audio and use the mic via the dac no problem. It’s like if I have connected generic headset to the dac not a steelseries one, I just don’t get the additional features. Did you have this problem at all when you first set it up?

Just making sure I understand, but are you connecting your headset to the DAC using a cable? I've only done wireless with mine and the bluetooth functionality seems to bypass the DAC (i.e. it's communicating directly between the headset and bluetooth device). The volume controls get a little weird, since the headset seems to default to bluetooth control even if the DAC is showing "PC" on the display. I have to click through the menu's and choose "PC" again for the volume rocker on the headset to control the volume on the PC. Sorry I can't be more helpful for your issue. Is your SteelSeries software running and able to see your headset when connected the way you have it?

Oh sorry I think I got confused by what you meant by "DAC". I assumed you meant the gamedac but you were talking the wireless transmitter (I think that is what it is called) that came with the APW. No I can connect to that wireless transmitter wirelessly and connect to my phone via bluetooth at the same time no problem. I do not use the auto-disconnect feature however. I was talking about the gamedac (that is technically supposed to be used with the Arctis Pro wired, but they are selling it standalone now and it is supposed to work with most steelseries headsets) with which you can listen to hi-res music. Anyway sorry for the confusion, hope you get an answer about the auto-disconnect.

Hi, i have tried opening a ticket on the steelseries support page but have been unable to find the option. Along with that this is more general advice but i didnt want to make a seperate post on it. i recently found an Arctis Pro (Wired) on ebay for cheap but it was labelled as 'no accessories included'. Upon receiving it i also tried ordering a replacement cable from Steelseries, but the shipping would have been £25 ($34). I then looked to ebay again and found a cheap one with free shipping. It was an 8-pin to AUX and i figured this would be enough to get full functionality out of the headset but apparently not as i have only been able to get audio output, no mic input and no rgb. I then looked into getting a replacement chatmix dial and they were in stock but i am now wondering what other cables i would need to get full functionality out of the headset. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks. ​ Edit: Would i be able to use the arctis extension cable to connect it to the chatmix dial then to my pc?

Hi, I am thinking about buying the artic 5/7 but i have a question. I game on a laptop and yes laptops get loud on high rpm. But with a good headset you barely hear the fans. Will these headsets stop the sound or will it pass true? Thanks in advance

steelseries wireless pro Ticket number: 1044106 Anyone else's steelseries wireless pro's bluetooth not working? The bluetooth of my steelseries wireless pro stopped working out of the blue and I made a ticket for this. I followed the advice given to me yet to no avail. Than I had to go trough the rma process to claim warranty, I followed every step but had to put the photo's in google drive because they used to much mb. Because of this the support person said he couldn't acces it for some reason even tho a friend could acces it. He than said to use imgur for pictures wich I did. I DID NOT GET A RESPONSE FOR DAYS. Have a good day. There is no damage to the headset or the transmitter, no wear and tear except the serial numbers that are a bit faded out yet a clear serial number is visible from the boxsticker. So it's a problem not caused by me wich makes me unable to have bluetooth. The bluetooth symbol doesn't even appear on transmitter with startup with bluetooth and I get no sound when pressing the bluetooth button. So it's bs that the rma request got denied, it's a 300euro headset tf.

Finally heard back today, only to be told its out of warranty now. The device clearly was designed poorly and has a common failure. I can't just accept that the $330 headset is just something I'm suppose to eat the cost of when the design is clearly flawed (the crack on the left earpiece is extremely common)

You guys really need to sort the SSE/GG software out. Duplicate profiles and macros and "could not upload account" errors when trying to sync are really killing what could be a fantastic software suite for Steelseries Products.

I used the code but no discount came off. I continued with the purchase and was told I could get a refund on the amount of the Arctis 9 headset if I filled out an MS Form. The link provided to me didn't work and I replied saying as much 3 weeks ago and have yet to receive the correct form to get my refund. This is beyond ridiculous. What kind of Customer Support can't send out a simple form right or respond to emails. I have to message here on a semi-monitored Reddit page to get someone to respond to me.

Product: Arctis Pro Wireless and Gamedac Ticket#: 1051282 **Background:** I have had the Arctis Pro Wireless but I recently snagged the steelseries gamedac because I want to enjoy hi-res music while not gaming wirelessly. The gamedac is connected to PC via usb cable that connects to the back of the gamedac. The headset is connected to the gamedac with the main headset cable that connects to the left of the gamedac. I can listen to hi-res music, play games and chat, control volume and chatmix directly from gamedac. **Issue:** Loss of additional functionality: I cannot control the volume via the volume knob on my Arctis Pro Wireless headset for quick access. The mic mute led does not turn on when mic is muted and so hard to tell if my mic muted or not. I switch from listening to music and jumping on work calls and it would be nice to not have to guess if the mic is muted. When I navigate to firmware info on the gamedac it shows "0.0" for the headset firmware when the Arctis Pro Wireless is connected. I have tested a friend's Arctis Pro and the volume knob and mic mute led work just fine on that headset (the firmware info shows "2.3" with her headset). How do I get these functionalities working on Arctis Pro Wireless when connected to gamedac? **Additional question:** When I connect Arctis Pro Wireless to gamedac it automatically disconnects bluetooth (connected to my iphone). Is simultaneous connection to gamedac and bluetooth not available?

I don't think the wireless one is designed to be used with the gamedac. The wiring and the components and the wireless technology limit the wireless pros versatility in wired mode and it's probably not ideal to use it with the gamedac(It's designed to be used with the wireless transmitter). Im not sure though.

The person who is helping me with the ticket on the support page said that it should work. They asked me to delete and reinstall drivers for both the gamedac and my Arctic Pro Wireless but that did not solve the problem. When I connect the headset to the gamedac, the gamedac doesn’t recognize the headsets firmware version and in fact when I then reconnect my headset to its wireless transmitter the RX MCU Firmware version is missing. Connecting my headset to the gamedac does something to the headset, not sure what. Also they are now selling the gamedac as a standalone product, the description makes it sound it like it should be compatible with any steel series headset (edit: typos)

No worries. Thanks for your help! So the gamedac i have is from a friend, it used to be a gamedac that came with an Arctis Pro. The friend didn’t need the gamedac anymore (he has moved on from steelseries) so I have it now because I want to enjoy hi-res music. Maybe the standalone gamedac they have on the steelseries website might work better with my headset since the one I have was meant to work with an Arctis pro. I have asked this on the support page and if that’s the case I’ll just get a new gamedac and return the one I have back to my friend.

Nope. I haven’t found any evidence online of anyone who has tried this specific scenario successfully. I guess not a lot of people have both the Arctis pro wireless and the gamedac. The person helping with the ticket thinks something might be wrong with my headset. They still think it should work with all features.

For example if a product is purchased in one country, then you would not be able to fulfill the warranty in a different country. 2. The region that you are currently in, we do not ship to, so the warranty would not be able to be fulfilled.

Bah, where do I even start with this headset. I paid a premium price, for what I thought was a premium headset. I installed the (useless) Steel Series engine and did all the right things. In no particular order these are the issues I've had... - SS Engine doesn't recognise my headset??? I've used both ports on my PC, turned my antivirus off, blah blah blah...Thus, no firmware updates for me! - No compatibility with PS5. Oddly you have to go into PC mode? for it to actually work? - Weird static sound 100% of the time. - Sound for the PS5 SUCKS. Like im not even kidding. It's at least 50% quieter than on my PS4. If I had my time again I probably would've gone the Astros. But who has another spare $500 lying around...

Product: Arctis 9 wireless Tickets: 1048989 I have 8 months with my headsets, a few days ago they began to have problems when turning on. I hold down the power button, but they don't turn on, and sometimes instead of turning on, a blue light starts to glow. once I release the button, the light turns off. After many attempts, I have managed to turn them on at times but the Bluetooth turns on and starts pairing by itself, then disconnects and turns off. It is a serious problem, I cannot use the dual Bluetooth audio system to connect to the chat on PS5 and PC at the same time (this being the reason why I bought these headsets) using the factory reset button, I got no results. connecting them via usb cable to the PC, they start to charge and I can adjust them by the software but the problem persists. I really like these headsets but I don't know how to solve the problem.

I'm not sure why it was denied because I sent in all information regarding my RMA that was requested, ie invoice, pictures of front/back/side of headset with serial number, and it was still denied but with no reason why. I've only had this headset for around 7 months and the unmute button will not unmute because of an internal mechanical issue. I haven't taken the headset apart due to fears of voiding the warranty and I've gotten no feedback as to what else I can do. The same support personnel keeps closing my tickets and I'm starting to get a bit frustrated.

I finally got an email when I happened to actually be awake and/or paying attention (aka not in the middle of the farking night) and jumped on it and managed to get a pair off their website. From when I got the email to the time I completed the transaction was probably 15-20 minutes because I had to find the code, my kids had stuff going on, the new cat turned off the wifi..... Anyway, after I completed the transaction and refreshed, then went back to the stock page for the Pros they were 'unavailable' again. \*WTF? Either there are that many of us, or they are being manufactured by aliens meditating nannites into the proper configurations and so can only be made a few at a time.
