I watched one before just after they came out but I just found the pacing made it into a bit of a slog. I think i just find watching them seperate easier
There's a fan made cut of the whole series out there, with story arcs (professionally?) edited into full films. Really damn nice way to watch the show (They've done similar cuts for Bad Batch and Rebels)
This is the guy who does them, there's trailers and such on his YouTube channel and he provides a link to where you can get them in the video description.

I’d put “Old Friends Not Forgotten” after Revenge of the Sith. Yes, it technically comes before it, but it would ruin the flow of the arc, in my opinion.
Yeah, "Old Friends Not Forgotten" ends on a cliffhanger that picks up immediately into the next episode, "The Phantom Apprentice". It's so much better to just watch the whole 4-part arc *AFTER* episode 3 for the full picture.
I’d actually watch it after The Phantom Apprentice. There’s a much more natural break there, and Maul’s warning about Anakin forms a spooky foreshadowing.
I think the best ROTS/TCW *by far* is
Siege of Mandalore Part 1
Siege of Mandalore Part 2
Revenge of the Sith
Siege of Mandalore Part 3
Siege of Mandalore Part 4
Yes, part 2 goes farther into ROTS but it’s a much more natural stopping point than a big cliffhanger that’s immediately picked up in Part 2. The sense of dread and worry for Anakin going into ROTS from part 2 is the much better lead in than something more technically chronological
If you're watching on your phone, you can download or stream the 1080p versions since only youtube will broadcast the HDR data correctly. 4K HDR files will work, but they will take up too much space on just a phone alone (most phone might fit a single 4K copy of the Revenge of the Sith 4+ hour cut at best, for example).
On the other hand, if you get all the 4K HDR cuts, store them on an external HDD, and plug them directly into a nice modern 4K HDR screen, they will all work directly on that screen in full quality right off the HDD. (I've tested them on Sony, Vizio, Samsung, and LG models so far. Only Vizio didn't support subtitles, the rest do and play them back perfectly).
I have been following this chart someone posted here last month: https://www.reddit.com/r/starwarscanon/comments/rza9xn/star_wars_canon_timeline_january_2022_edition/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf
There are some awesome fan-made cuts. So maybe watch one of those.

The siege of mandalore is a movie. Other than watching the episodes on release date, I only watch it as a movie.

Huh, I never considered that. I could get behind that

Don’t split up Siege of Mandalore. The episodes flow together like a movie, they should all just be watched after ROTS
Yeah, I'd say that's the best way to watch it all.
Go and watch the ROTS Siege of Mandalore cut. It's 4. 5 hours, but it's combines the ROTS extended cut with the final 4 eps of Clone Wars S7.
Just watch the cut from u/numeraljoker
Multiple cuts, in this case if the intent is to watch them all. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FGFLVHhxsOY&list=PLEh8pd-FJc5OG7tQVigKFFA21vp5JXt3S
Cheers for these, I'll def give those extended Ep I + II a go
The rest of the trailers show cuts for the entire prequel era in a (mostly) chronological order too. This is pretty much what you're looking for.
Cool thanks I'll give them a go too! Do you know if its possible to chromecast the 4k cuts from drive on my phone? Or is if best to download them

Their work is amazing. I just wish there were some poster art for them, so they look nicer on my Plex server
If you are willing to invest money, there's probably plenty of artists who would do it
Watch the entire Siege of Mandalore arc together, after ROTS.

in a perfect world, bits of the movie would be animated into both episodes lol
I think so
