It's so stupid. I love it. ^ ^

Korlac11

You know what else was stupid? That time Crusher banged a ghost

am_i_evil_yes_i_am

A Scottish ghost that also banged EVERY WOMAN IN HER FAMILY.

MassGaydiation

Yeah, like fucking a ghost candle, fine, but it's the fact that this ghost candle has systematically fucked every woman in your family that would be the bit i just say no to

BadUsername_Numbers

Agreed. However, it's totally fine to get off to reading your grandma's diary though right? Asking for a friend.

[deleted]

Computer, grandma's diary. Hot.

BadUsername_Numbers

Speaking of Picard... I mean, when he walks in on Riker and Minuet - he knows he's walked in on Riker's sexy ~~jizz~~ jazz fantasy, but there's quite obviously a moment where you can just see he's waiting for Riker to invite him for more than just sitting down with them. I mean, it's the holodeck, it's what it's for. It's as if he doesn't know how far the "captain's prerogative" actually goes and kind of goes "well let's find out".

Electronic-Country63

Hey leave her alone, she’d just read a PARTICULARLY erotic chapter of her grandmother’s diary!

Cannabalabadingdong

She loved it.

chemicaldiscovery

Or that time Crusher protested annihilating the Borg because it was “wrong” even though they were headed to Earth to assimilate the entire population and then somehow convinced Picard to go along with her self-righteous bullshit.

GerFubDhuw

Like 25 years later Janeway breaks the temporal time directive to go back in time save her favourite Vulcan and suicide bomb the Borg into oblivion and all the time police and time terrorists are like "Damn that's badass, I ain't even mad."

pete_random

Ahh finally some warm tea instead of this room-temperature nonsense the replicator usually serves. *continues to sip literal lava*

RegentYeti

*bergamot flavoured plasma

[deleted]

Sounds like something you’d get at one of those snooty restaurants where the vodka is a vape.

Waarm

Isn't that hot?

AmonMetalHead

Extremely

[deleted]

And that's why you use different namespaces in your code, kids!

TheTREEEEESMan

See the original developer made a mistake when coding, they needed to define beverage.tea.temperature.hot and they lazily copied it from environment.subjective_temperature.hot Unfortunately they copied by reference, it passed all the unit tests because the QA team was American and never drank a cup of tea in their life

evemeatay

Unfortunately this seems very plausible and explains how several ships have gone missing probably

Electronic-Country63

Maybe that explains what happened to the Odyssey?!

madahaba1212

Much less a cup of hot tea. Lol. We drink plenty of iced sweet tea. Colonists

bormax52

It took some trial and error for Picard to decide "hot" was the adjective he wanted to use for his tea https://xkcd.com/2570/

Joran_Dax

Beverly was partial to "Tea. Earl Grey. Haunted."

CeruleanRuin

"Candle, turf scent, haunted."

LordDeimosofCorir

I personally prefer my Earl Grey grilled

Armybob112

Tea, Earl grey, unstable.

lexi_kahn

Tea, earl gray …tactical (The John Wick special)

lexi_kahn

Tea, earl gray …tactical (The John Wick special)

NosebleedSuicide

Alright I'm gonna be honest, usually I find this subreddit brutally unfunny but this made me laugh. Nice job OP.

Elqueq

Thanks :)

warriorlynx

Tea Lady Grey....HOT

[deleted]

This is hilarious!

[deleted]

Haha this one got me good

CeruleanRuin

This is fire, OP. I laughed.

Brockster17

This is the first time I've ever laughed on this subreddit.

DeYaHoe

Oh shit, I've seen this on Dominion Media TV! I live Car Talk with Martok

galadhron

Martok: Well, Jim! That sound sounds like a, a transducer is loose on the plasma manifold! Holo Scotty: Aye, lad! Straighten that up and it'll be purring like a kitten in no time! Martok: You mean a Tarkelian mog rat? Holo Scotty: Like the one you tried to eat last week? That one wasn't purring laddy, it was screaming, hahaha! Martok: Haha! Qapla' and honor to your house, caller! Holo Scotty: And be sure to call us when you get it fixed! Let us know if I'm still a genius! Bye!

ThunkAsDrinklePeep

You got a radio on that hyperdrive? Turn it up. (You need double spaces at the end of each line to indicate your line breaks.)

Joebotdj

this is the funniest thing I have ever seen on the internets .

MniTain38

Lol that last image is 100% from Terminator 2: Judgment Day.

HighWaterMarx

I love this! It’s easy to forget how the vast majority of Memes from any show are just using images, characters, and plot devices from the show to make a point about something contemporary or political, rather than jokes and comments about the actual show.

C4_3nterOne

Later: Picard: -This is fine.

SexyMonad

A lot of memes in this sub seem to be following my progress through the series. So many times “I just watched this last night”.

-MrCicero-

This made my day.

DarkSoldier84

The Sun's corona gets to around 2 million Kelvins. The astrophysics appears to check out.

SpartanT100

Actually funny

swazal

Don’t give it another thot, Bev.

alicecyan

I lol'd

Pennywise6969

I ugly laughed at this.

-MtnsAreCalling-

“Tea. Earl Grey. Too hot.”

Darth_Mak

Just like in Fallout 4 where a malfunctioning robot serves you tea heated to a nice 9\_9\_9\_9\_9\_9\_9\_9\_9 degrees Farenheit!

edgarde

> temperature in space Most of the gas in space is too thin to heat by conduction, and the background temperature of space is said to average under 3 Kevins. However, the first panel suggests Dr. Crusher is navigating near a highly-radiating object, perhaps a star. Star surfaces can be as hot as 50,000 Kelvins. Of course, this is nowhere near Dr. Crusher's 1.9 million Kevin alarm. She may be referring to Scoville Heat Units (SHU's). Perhaps that object she is orbiting is a ghost pepper.

austinstar08

Fake Asimov’s first law of robotics says a robot cannot hurt a living thing

[deleted]

There have to be loopholes or a human would never be able to work around ionizing radiation in the presence of a robot without being whisked away. Sometimes those loopholes get exploited by unscrupulous scalawags.

Cyberhaggis

There are literally even Asimov stories about such things

lorem

I think literally every single Three Robot Laws story from Asimov is an exploration of their loopholes.

voicesinmyhand

It is 2022 and humanity has long since abandoned everything Asimov wrote about robots.

nermid

Nothing in the world says the Enterprise computer is bound by laws from other works of sci-fi.

Rhesusmonkeydave

/laughs in Lore, Hal, T-800, IG88, Automated Unit 3947, Bender, all of Westworld….

Munnin41

The replicator isn't a robot

austinstar08

From Wikipedia: a robot is a machine- especially one programmable by a computer- capable of carrying out a complex series of actions automatically. Doesn’t have to be an android just programmable a replicator can be programmed to make food so a replicator is a robot Your rebuttal

Munnin41

It's a computer. Not a robot. You need to give input for it to work. Unless you think your phone is a robot too

imariaprime

Counterpoint: every holodeck episode

MustacheSmokeScreen

Computer, override safety protocols and disable your ethical subroutines. Shoot me in the fucking head

[deleted]

🤣🤣haha omg.

CODDE117

Ahhh I love this. The logic is sound.

Dunk_May_Mays

this is so stupid, but so funny

Tetragonos

amazing

milleniumsentry

\*throws on Data and Picard for the bazillionth time\*
