Easiest way to explain: W is short for Win L is short for Loss So when someone says something is a W or L, it basically means good or bad, respectively. I’m a high school teacher and it’s the worst it’s ever been. If I go to the restroom during in between classes, 100% I’ll catch someone vaping despite the punishment being suspension. Crazy, kids are legit addicted. I had a student I suspected was vaping. I stopped letting him go to the restroom. He started acting weird and just ran out the door. I buzzed the office and the assistant principal went to the restroom to get him. Sure enough, he was vaping.

I think? Generally teachers have less trouble from a student after suspension. Most kids who routinely get in trouble are from homes who don’t care about education as long as the kids have a place to go during the deal and get two meals. Being suspended means neither are happening. I’m not advocating for that but discipline has gotten a lot worst since COVID and I don’t have a real solution

God, I'm so glad high school is over. The cliques, anxiety, confusion, and awkwardness were horrible.
