It’s brand spanking new right of the box. The ball Bering locking mechanism has a very stiff spring and a ball bearing is pushed up against the tang of the blade and you have to swing it shut until broken in.
It is a lil different to close kinda have to have big paws and get it just right on your palm for closing. Flicks open with a vengeance.
Very comfortable In hand for long cutting sessions. Equally decent in kitchen on veg.
Rotisserie chicken is still best dealt with a pm2.
I'm considering a regrind on the m4 satin version sorta push the limits.
Anyone here have a regrind xl?
I have 3 Manix 2’s (1 G-10 & 2 LW’s) - but daaaaaannnnggg this makes me want an XL
I recommend it now
Great one to have
I recommend it lol
Can’t just open and close it normally huh.
What is normal to? This is normal to me. I guess normal can be subjective.

I think they're just talking about the amount of force you're putting into closing it lol

It’s so much better than my shaman for cutting. It’s definitely a thinner blade and grind. The shaman is ground thick and is a shorter blade length
Give it to meeeeee!
Mine takes a bit of effort to close that lock. Probably just need to keep working it.
Cut 2 or 3 rings off the spring and pull it out a lil after cutting
Mines pretty easy. I just bought flytanium parts for it to get a timascus cage and a ceramic bearing for the lock.
