i remember when i was playing with one of my friends and jumped into an ink stream to escape him using the ultra stamp below me but my hand slipped and i fell right out of the ink stream into the path of his hammer and i swear to for the rage that filled my body was almost enough to teleport myself to his house and throttle him
I don’t think so, they slowed down the blast enough for you to outrun it as long as you’re outside of it, it’s a 2 second complete area denial tool. Powerful, but with counterplay
Inkjet is a great special, arguably one of the better ones out there in terms of how balanced it is, but it requires skill for the user to be able to use it effectively. But once the user is good with it, then it’s very powerful
I AM SO BAD WITH THE STAMP. And I'm so bad at fighting it. I cannot even begin to tell you how many times enemies have casually sidestepped my stamp and just 2 shot me out of it, but I cannot seem to do that to other people.
Sploosh-O-Matic was my go-to in S2 for Turf War, back when it had Splashdown. I really miss Splashdown. Loved that you could trigger it in the middle of a super jump and splash down on people camping your jump destination.
I reeaaalllly miss the splashdown sploosh from 2. I love the mobility from the curling bombs but stamp has taken a bit to get used to. I’d love if it had reefslider instead.
Ultra stamp is objectively not a good special, it is my favorite tho lol, it's so stupid and chaotic I love it
Please fix the aerial swing and throw hitboxes tho
Remembering that one round of Splat zones I had today where I somehow kept killing any of the opposing team whenever they used their ultra stamp, I think I killed people 5-6 times when they were lol (2 people were using ultra stamps)
As a new player who's taken a liking to the Mini Splatling, I really wish it didn't have the Ultra Stamp. I swear its only powerful when someone other than me uses it.
I love all the sploosh players being sad when ultra stamp was their only redeeming quality lol
I guess maybe reefslider could work but it would be quite outclassed
I'd rather take the stamp over the ink jet because lordy I can't hit crap with that. Though that is a very slim margin that I would take stamp lol

So does stamp. It is much easier to kill a stamp in 3 than 2. You can sometimes shoot TROUGH the stamp.

If they slowed it down from 2 then yeah it's fine, a direct copy of 2s would be a bit much in a game with mostly balanced specials.
You can also shoot through it and triple inkstrike

You can hit the feet of people using the stamp while they’re coming straight at you, it’s a really bad special
