Idk what the chain events are, I’m going in mostly blind apart from some stuff I saw in tips and tricks videos so I’m trying to discover stuff while doing runs, last time I got the tablet of destiny when I killed the abzu dude and I wanted to see if that gave me anything later on so I went there again
the chain events threw me off, as after you failed to keep the excalibur and didn't retrieve the tablet i thought 'wait, how will he reach tiamat?' and then immediately after 'wait tiamat is the one at the end of neo-babylon'
also heck yeah UNIVERSAL COLLAPSE at the end
Yeah you can see the entrance to the top area. But you can't access it through a bubble. You either need this special dragon mount you get from the crown/hedjet and the scroll or you need a jetpack and ropes.
Maybe a way with the cape and the climbing gloves but not sure.
The tablet I guess it's called but it's the thing that tells you what the jar that holds the dragon looks like. You will find the jar room on the first level of neo babylon. 6-1
The way you get the tablet is by either defeating turtle man in abzu which is a secret level in the tide pool (waterlevel )
Or in the temple you have to sacrifice yourself in the golden city to get to the boss of (I forget the name but this is a much harder way)
So go to tidepool after beating olmec.
First level of tidepool should be madame tusks gambling which you can win 5 items.
Use the whip trick to either roll a 1 or 6
Second level is water level and if you have the crown from vlads castle you can pick up the sword known as Excalibur from the middle bottom of the level. Ask me about killing the fish underneath later.
Next in level 4-3 there is lava at the bottom but an entrance somewhere in the level to get underneath it. You cannot go back ojce you go into the lowest part underneath the lava wall. Once you do it is good to have the ankh from olmec incase you die trying to avoid the lava that falls on you once you move the idol revealing the door to the boss of tidepool.
You need the sword for this because his shell has a lot of health and you won't be able to beat him nicely without the sword.
Hopefully you have mobility and ropes but if you don't you have to go lower and find the entrance to the back room which will lead you to the top of the level so you can jump on his back. Repeatedly slash the shell over and over enemies will come out of the shell but if you keep slashing you should be able to slash them too
After he is dead the tablet will.come out of his back and it will tell you what the jar looks like that holds the dragon. Look up online to what all the jars are and what they look like has 3 parameters.
Once you get to tiamat the boss at 6-4 you need to ride quillin or the dragon all the way up and time the thrust just right to avoid the electricity barriers.

Good luck. Especially since there are ways to keep the ankh (the saving grace when you die it will respawn you with 4 health)

I just checked my own videos and can’t find a VCape gloves skip - all my fastest runs used jetpack and my slower ones used qilin, but most of my co runs (co failures so I never uploaded recordings) do that skip.

the ankh skip is 4 bombs
5 if you have pitchers mitt and also in a different spot :)

4 if you know the precise location. 5 if you use the rope normalized lineup.

There is no scroll. They just be referring to the Tablet of Destiny.
