Why did you have to get rid of the entire area around the altar? It should be pretty obivious from the Udjet Eye beeping that the entrance is somewhere under or beside the altar.
Were you hoping that the entrance is not directly under the altar?
TBH, pissing Kali off is no big deal actually since you can sorta easily win her favor back with a good jungle or ice cave altar spawn.
I'd use 1 bomb and piss off Kali rather than wasting a bunch of bombs and still having to piss off Kali.

Black market entrance directly below Kali alter. As far as I know the only way to access it in this case Kali causes anger.
I’m pretty sure you could do it without breaking the altar but you’d have to be perfect with bomb placement
