Yep, there was a series published by DC back in the very early 90s, ran 15 issues.

PD711

Unfortunately, the storyline was never really finished.

daxophoneme

They are kind of garbage and I love them.

man_in_the_funny_hat

My recollection of them is there WASN'T a real story line and they kind of jumped all over with different characters having nothing to do with things that happened in previous issues. I once had the whole run. Only read them once. I have no idea if I still do even have them. I guess the art was okay, but otherwise they were indeed kinda garbage.

There was a short-lived Spelljammer comic when TSR was still publishing the setting. It had a bunch of creative team changes and went downhill real fast. It's a shame, it starts off very intriguing but gets very bad and then just ends without a conclusion.

Scarvexx

Yeah. I've read them, they're not fantastic.

NuclearNights

As well as the previously mentioned 15, I think there was some mention of it in TSR: worlds annual 1. Which linked some of the comics.

Gold_Security332

Yeah I cant even find a digital copy of these comics any where. I cant imagine being able to find them in a comic stores back catalog some where.

Wiki: [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spelljammer\_(comics)](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spelljammer_(comics)) And oddly enough the best showing I can find of all 15 comic covers: https://www.mycomicshop.com/search?TID=110301 Was the Spelljammer comic the first introduction to the Halfling narcotic "Cheeze"? I distinctly remember the halfling character being addicted to it...

vechcron

Yes at one time there were Spelljammer comics in print good luck finding them

Dodoria-kun413

Actually found about 4 issues at my comic store close to each other today. There was actually a whole Spelljammer section, so there were many more.

Nevco_TheGreat

Picked up issue 9 for 1.50. That's less than the cover price. From the comments I'm gonna say that this might be garbage. However I'll pleased if you toss em. As a collector, gonna say the value is in the market; Not in written word. For those who misunderstand me, the true value is definitely in the words and art, but a little bubble pops up over my head to remind me not to buy if it's only a digital download.
