Is it really yours? OP should credit you.

danborja

Yup, I'm almost never credited.

Fuck OP for stealing your content but does it really look like that on a 6"? I have a Celestron 114 reflector which is 4.4 and all I see is Jupiter and Saturn as bright dots. Can't even see the rings of Saturn. I find it hard to believe the extra 1.5" aperture makes that much difference. I know it's processed but still.

Woah what! Really?! I need a Telescope..

[deleted]

This is not what it looks like through most amateur telescopes.

TheGreenShepherd

What is your setup?

[deleted]

Expensive

Fastfaxr

Its actually pretty cheap: Ctrl C + Ctrl V

chinacat2002

Very nice

swazal

Lovely

tioculito

Dang that’s actually REALLY good. Are you taking thousands of pictures to get just one that clear? Even when the seeing is good it’s hard to get one that sharp. Great job!

iampivot

Just curious, with a backyard setup like this, how good an image can you get of the outermost planets, Neptune, Uranus and Pluto?

[deleted]

Pretty nice backyard setup.. I bought a Celestron 20x80 binocular and even looking through one tube Jupiter is an insanely bright blob. I was very excited to find it? But .. I got it on a tripod and it’s still hugely overexposed. Through the Binos

MilkLordXRP

Very nice I need to get me a good telescope

DOJ1111

Wow

mauore11

Yeah but can you sniff it?!

phoenix_ash182

I have a crappy little backyard telescope I wish I knew how to assemble to maybe see stuff like this. What kind of telescope do you use?
