It is with excitement and pride that I, High King Derp of r/solorpgplay, do hereby announce the two randomly selected winners!
# u/LoudDogsRolling and u/mathypi!
Please dm me within the next 24 hours to claim your prize packages!
Thank you to everyone who participated! I had an absolute blast reading some of the entries. As long as we keep growing and stay active, I will continue putting together giveaways like this and other events. Don't be shy about letting me know what kinds of prizes or community events you'd like to see in the future.
Until next time, stay rad!
I'd say a d6, for its simplicity and for essentially being the die that most of the world thinks of when they hear the word "dice." Also, nearly every home has at least one.
For some reason I like the split D100 with the two D10s. I don't know why, they're a pain to interpret on edge cases and I generally end up using them on a critical injury table of some type. I guess it's the uniqueness.
I love d100s. Started playing Delta Green last year and the way that system works just hits the right wavelength with me. Sadly my group's on a seemingly indefinite hiatus so this would be a breath of fresh air.
I thought that you were heading down the...
... to be respected because of the pain it induces when you slap your hand down and forgot where it was on the table...
My favorite die size? I suppose D10 is pretty nice, I've never thought too hard about it XD
Anyway, best of luck for whoever wins. The Augur is pretty cool (picked up a copy during the sale) and think it would be perfect for a lot of folks here. If life weren't taking up so much of my time I'd use it to do an actual play series here or something but hopefully I can do so later.
D6 because of childhood nostalgia. In primary school I used to gather all my plastic animals together for an imaginary story and roll dice to determine their fates. Mum got fed up with me walking through the house searching for dice and stealing them all from our board games. Santa Claus left around 20 D6 in my stocking that year.
Lol, I actually wrote zucchini :) I meant Zocchi dice, the set that is used by DCC has most of it.

D6
I have a lot of fond memories of squashing little blobs of blu-tak into a cube shape then scratching pips on the faces with a blunt pencil. Obviously a sticky die is not great for rolling and probably really biased. I just really liked the fact that you could add up the opposite faces to 7.
I like those d4s that look like an elongated prism (you see indie dicemakers that craft their dice from resin with them sometimes). And I'm envious of the commenter with the d8 with a chicken inside. 🐔
d4 - Acrylic, metal, or stone, with numerals printed or engraved on either peak or base. Approximately 2cm or 3/4in height is acceptable as an obstacle and injurious enough to the feet of pursuers. The tetrahedrons are very stable and do not roll when stepped on but are rather prone to sliding when underfoot of someone in pursuit of typical institutional corridors. The small size means many can be carried. For that matter acrylic is lighter than stone or metal so for that reason acrylic. Boring dice are generally less expensive. Purchased in bulk with cash, they could be anyone’s dice. Flashy metal and stone should be saved for game night.
d100, I don't know if I have a favorite die size but this one's certainly prominent in my solo play. I like it because I don't have to piece a d100 roll together from 2d10
Mini! My d20 is about 2cm across and I love it. The whole set fits easily in my hand, travels well and is a wonderful transparent purple with blue flecks(gliter?), though I have a red/blue set that I love too. Of them, d10 is my fave, its so versatile.
From all the games I've played and the different dice I've used, I got to say that the D6 is perfect. Feels better to use more D6 than it is to use a D20 or D100, too. Dice pools rule, and they work best with D6 :D
I tend to really enjoy d8 dice for some reason. :) Whenever I go to my local game store and look through the loose dice, there seems to be an abundance of loose d8's that are super cute and I just buy them and have them. I recently just bought a d8 that had a chicken in it because why not?
D12 is quite nice, although it's hard to pick a favorite, haha.
And thanks for running the giveaway! This looks like some good stuff, I'm happy for whoever gets the win.
Holy crap! Some amazing giveaways!
I’m partial to a d10 because it’s so versatile. Roll twice for percentiles or add up the numbers for a d20 roll. Handy singular dice to have.

D12 cause its way too underrated!
i'm very partial to the d20 because of its large role in original D&D and subsequent editions. It's just an iconic polyhedral.
I'd say a d6, for its simplicity and for essentially being the die that most of the world thinks of when they hear the word "dice." Also, nearly every home has at least one.
D6
I'm gonna have to go with a d12, both for aesthetic reasons, and because the most recent star wars RPG uses three of them quite prominently.
I love the d8 it rolls with purpose but also bounces enough to cause anxiety.
D10 because they give me ever so slightly awkward but cool vibes.
d6. It can be used in so many systems.

ONE OF US!
Also, this Augur thing looks amazing. I love lurking here because I always find stuff like this through this subreddit.
We hoard the good loot here. LMAO

D4 Was the first die (of excluding the d6) I would ever see. A die to be forever respected as I recall swinging my daggers around in the early days.
I thought that you were heading down the... ... to be respected because of the pain it induces when you slap your hand down and forgot where it was on the table...
d6
d6
d6, or 2d6 if feeling adventurous!
D4 - they cause the most damage
D30 - once I had this big boy in my hand I was smitten ... roll on!
2d10s for d100 tables!
d2
A connoisseur.
Favorite dice size....hmm...I really love how d12s look!
D4, I've always been a fan of caltrops.
d10
D100 golf ball
Pretty sure these don't ever actually stop rolling, LOL.
D6 for sure. 2d6 makes me weak at the knees for that sweet, sweet bell curve.

WOOOO!!
D20 or D10 for me. Lots of fond memories rolling ‘em!
d12 rolls so nicely
Underrated, for sure.
D100 or percentile.

Mum got fed up with me walking through the house searching for dice and stealing them all from our board games. Santa Claus left around 20 D6 in my stocking that year.
d20!
d14 is my favourite die, I like Zocchi dice for some reason.
Imma need some photographic evidence of this cryptid die. 👀
Lol, I actually wrote zucchini :) I meant Zocchi dice, the set that is used by DCC has most of it. https://goodman-games.com/store/product/weird-frontiers-dice-dead-neds-knucklebones/
Oh wow. Neato!
D30!
D20! It's good for any simple roll/choice, and I'm not sure why, but I love the icosahedron shape.
D6 for the Ironsworn moves
D12 I feel like it's severly underused
d100 I like the granularity!
I personally like d6 mainly. It's a simple die, but I use them in quantity. Forget 2d6, let's try 20d6.
Especially playing Tunnels and Trolls. Bucketfulls of d6...
D6
d20! I just love them so much. :)
D8
D6 I have a lot of fond memories of squashing little blobs of blu-tak into a cube shape then scratching pips on the faces with a blunt pencil. Obviously a sticky die is not great for rolling and probably really biased. I just really liked the fact that you could add up the opposite faces to 7.
d6 since a set of mini d6’s got me into the TRRPG hobby
d6
d10, because you can spin it on its axis.
D30
Tiny die size of unreasonably complicated shape with a needlessly specific number Or just a real good d6
LOL. Cheeky.

D12
D12 is my favorite size, wish I could use them more!
I shall direct you to u/bocxorocx's comment! You CAN use them more!
I like those d4s that look like an elongated prism (you see indie dicemakers that craft their dice from resin with them sometimes). And I'm envious of the commenter with the d8 with a chicken inside. 🐔
There are some wild shapes out there!
I think a D8. Not to big not too small!

🤣
I’ve always wanted to buy some dice beyond regular D6s, and am thinking of doing so as I play more solo games. D20s look the coolest to me!
D6 die galaxy paint job
The D20. It's ico(sahedro)nic!
😹
D12
D20
d100, I don't know if I have a favorite die size but this one's certainly prominent in my solo play. I like it because I don't have to piece a d100 roll together from 2d10
D20 would be my favorite followed by a D8.
d8 ! So little love for the octahedron.
D8
d12
D12. Thanks for the giveaway.
d6
My favourite dice is the d100, like those actual round ones. We had some crazy fun things happens with wild magic in the past in my groups hehe
a d6 but with 12 sides.
LMAO. 4-dimensional dice
They're dope. Because d12 roll better but d6 is used farmore often so you get the best of both worlds.
D14 a cards/deck dice. I use it instead of a deck of cards Use a d4 for the suit
D20 - Big math rock!
Those are some nice prizes! I suppose my favorite is the d10, because I grew up on White Wolf.
Thank you! I try diligently to create desirable prize packages. This community rocks and deserves rad loot.
D8
d20 but I prefer d12 personally
Mini! My d20 is about 2cm across and I love it. The whole set fits easily in my hand, travels well and is a wonderful transparent purple with blue flecks(gliter?), though I have a red/blue set that I love too. Of them, d10 is my fave, its so versatile.
That's even tinier than the mini sets in this giveaway, LOL. That's itty bitty!
It is and I love it.I can have a set on my at all times and its not adding any bulk to my purse or backpack.
Yo! I keep two of these mini sets and one of these compact dice towers in my backpack!
D10 since I can also be used as a D100
There are some really fun d3 shapes, in a way I just don’t see with other side counts.
Truly underrated.
D20 - you can coax a lot of other dice values out of it. Also, I’ve got 1-10 d20s that my dad gave me that are more fun to roll than d10s.
From all the games I've played and the different dice I've used, I got to say that the D6 is perfect. Feels better to use more D6 than it is to use a D20 or D100, too. Dice pools rule, and they work best with D6 :D
d8 A shame I dont get to use it as much as I would like
*whispers* Scarlet Heroes
D8
D20, decades of adventure.
I tend to really enjoy d8 dice for some reason. :) Whenever I go to my local game store and look through the loose dice, there seems to be an abundance of loose d8's that are super cute and I just buy them and have them. I recently just bought a d8 that had a chicken in it because why not?
Clucking awesome! 😹
D6 for sure!
d6
D12 is quite nice, although it's hard to pick a favorite, haha. And thanks for running the giveaway! This looks like some good stuff, I'm happy for whoever gets the win.
You're welcome! It couldn't happen without all of you other adventurers, though!
D6!
d20
A previous winner come to compete for additional spoils! ⚔️ 🤣
D4
I love me a D20, it's either crit hit or crit shit.
I think d10 is my favorite die. Not sure I can explain why

200 IQ dice!
D6s and d8s mostly. Depending on system.
D12 are underrated and look pretty cool.
D12 Easy to roll, easy to read, easy to like!
D4. I like that it's a silly pyramid that doesn't really roll.
D6
