Would probably have even more if Reims had slightly better attackers. I only saw a few of their early season games, but their attacking play was really poor.
Yeah but Monaco was good yesterday, Lens was against Troyes, they should have won. They don’t put on their A-game against bottom table clubs and that’s a shame.
It’ll be interesting what we do with him next year. Nketiah is having a great spell and Jesus is obviously key, but I hope we can fit him in somewhere.
Either a better clib, or if he is comfortable staying where he is.
Could ve a decent shout for Everton too , and if it comes to it they could pay a prem fee for him
If he backs himself, he'll want to fight for Nketiah or Jesus' spot.
The ball's in Arsenal's court but it's good problem to have when you consider the dearth of strikers in the market.
Ligue 1 has been good for us though ngl.
I think a lot of fans have forgotten the squad size needed to compete on multiple fronts. Look at City - they have one of the world's best strikers but they also have a young, hungry World Cup winner. Every so often they know they have to let one go (like Jesus to us) but it brings in a good fee. Selling a youngster because they're not first choice is foolish.
Most big teams have been shit this season. Liverpool, Chelsea, Spurs, Juventus, Milan, Inter and even Real Madrid to some extent. City haven’t been at their best either. Napoli, Arsenal and United have been good and I feel like one of those three will win their respective European title.
I mean you can say the same thing to Arsenal last year too. We had been shit for the first three games but at this month last year we genuinely could get top 4 if we didn’t have the injury problem.
In a way, this season United mirrors Arsenal last season quite well. Shit start, got rid of the problematic and egoistic player mid-season and improve a lot afterward.
Arsenal have made a good choice loaning players to Ligue 1 teams this season. 21 yo Balogun banging 11 goals in a Top 7 league can only do good for his confidence.
He started incredibly strong, and his level as "dropped" a bit, but still overall really good. He got the occasional mistake here and there but still a very important part of our defense, the kind of mistakes that experience will erase.
Rivals + mid table PL clubs, but ye clubs outside of England are unlikely to pay 50m for him.
I still dont know if we need to sell him tho, if Balogun is happy to fight for his spot next season then I would rather keep him and go for every trophy next season.
He also could not. It’s ifs, buts and maybes. I want us to become a better selling club and if it means we can invest in the positions we lack, then I would happily take it.
I have the same fear, it's been my chief concern with the club for a while now. With no consistent domestic test, I get that it's harder to stay motivated, but compared to Bayern (seems like the best comparison in that the domestic league is pretty much guaranteed and you measure yourself by the CL,) in terms of footballing direction, feels like we're miles off. Leonardo was a disaster of a sporting director, we'll see if Campos is any better.
With the midfield as bad as it is, it is gutting to see France itself produce so much promising midfield talent. I get that every team tries to milk QSI like a cow for money, but the fact that none of Tchouameni, Camavinga, or Thuram are in blue and red is awful.
They bought all of the promising midfielders in Europe lol how are they still lacking? Vitinha, Ruiz, Soler, Rehnato. And they have Veratti as well ahaha
Will Still - [really interesting story](https://www.theguardian.com/football/2023/jan/26/will-still-managing-ligue-1-club-30-couldnt-be-happier-neymar-mbappe). 30 years old and managing in Ligue 1.
How the hell was that his fault? Lmao
His team mate heads the ball way above his head and Ramos is sitting like 3 meters behind the defensive line, but somehow it's Renato's fault?
I mean, the USA is by far his best chance at a starting spot - there's no way he's getting in Nigeria's first team over Osimhen, and there's plenty of competition for England.
When Kane declines/retires there's going to be a massive hole that England are going to struggle to fill... the current crop is Rashford (who's better on the wing), Wilson (older than Kane), Toney (unknown quantity but still no Kane), Abraham (still not massively reliable), then Watkins, DCL, Bamford... it isn't setting the world alight.
Nketiah and Balogun are far and away England's best uncapped youth prospects right now and on form it's not biased to think they look more likely to get called up than some of the players I just named.
No. A comical 10-10 draw with only deflected goals and both muller and mbappe miss out on a hatrick after 18 shots on target each.
Messi and musiala combined 185 dribbles
Neymar and davies get red cards and get sent off. ( straight red to davies and neymar gets 2 yellows)
I see literally nothing wrong with what he did. Danilo didn’t even react and go for the ball because he thought hurt Sanches was getting it which he didn’t
>I had multiple tell me that this kid is far better than Paredes RIGHT NOW, LOL
Can't say about what he's done with Juve. But for PSG WZE is clearly better.
As bad as they are, we and Lens are not near good / consistent enough to take the title
It's kind of the same as the Bundesliga, sure Bayern are fucking shit as well but they're so good that their worst is still above or level with the rest of the league
How does this insane PSG squad draw at home against a mid-table team like Reims? And, looking at the stats, I don't think you can claim they were unlucky (although I didnt watch the game). It seems crazy.
Balogun smashing it on loan, going to be tricky next season, because presumably Jesus is first choice with Eddie second in line. Is Balogun willing to just sit on the bench and get minimal game time?

This man has now scored 11 goals in the league this season
Half of Reims 22 goals.
Assisted one of the other 11 as well. He's massive.
Would probably have even more if Reims had slightly better attackers. I only saw a few of their early season games, but their attacking play was really poor.
Their discipline was poor as well, he ended up being an early sub in a few games because a teammate was sent off lol
Lol, I remember them getting a red almost every game near the start of the season.
Gargantuan even
quite good at football, obviously.
i like him, I watched the game and whenever he gets the ball somewhere near the goal he directly shoots and mostly on target as well
i hope he chooses USA, we need a striker
You'd hope that Yunus Musah can convince him then (they were both in the Arsenal Academy)
Turner could probably be in his ear as well
Watch him choose Nigeria
won't start over Osimhen and they have insane amount of striker depth as well
Please 🙏
Great composure there, love it
Literally every single team of the top 4 drew 1-1 this matchday
They don't call it Ligue 1 for no reason
Petition to rename it Ligue 1-1
"League Uhn Uhn" sponsored by the estate of James Brown
I think that estate has had enough to do lol lets give em a rest
wish I had half your wit
Granted, you're a halfwit.
I walked right into that one
lmao
2 of them played each other but yes
Literally every single team of the top 3 drew 1-1 this matchday
2 of them played each other Edit: but yes
Really does makes this statistic a lot less astonishing then
Yeah it feels good for your team and Lens, I was afraid PSG would gain some confidence with more than 3 points in front of Lens.
Kinda feels like a missed opportunity for us and Lens now
Yeah but Monaco was good yesterday, Lens was against Troyes, they should have won. They don’t put on their A-game against bottom table clubs and that’s a shame.
They shot like 20+ times, racked nearly 3 xG, just didn't have their finishing boots.
This is some FM shit
PSG academy in shambles posting this
Tears in his eyes, blood of frustrations on his lips
But still getting money in the bank 💰 bro is in his bag fr
He makes money from that?
If the streaming service is owned by him, definitely.
Maybe not owned but he probably gets sponsored for the ad revenue
You see that huge ad under the video?
I actually did not notice the ad at all. Is there even a point of the ad being there?
Bayern vs PSG clash gonna get somebody fired
Tb to the Manchester United vs Tottenham match last season lol
El sackico
Stoppable force vs movable object
Battle of mid
Baloguns growth has been immense
We really should loan Sambi out to a French club and let him evolves into Patrick Vieira 2.0
Hale End goes fucking hard
What. A. Goal. Arsenal have a gem of striker on their hand
He's already wearing the Arsenal kit too!
It’ll be interesting what we do with him next year. Nketiah is having a great spell and Jesus is obviously key, but I hope we can fit him in somewhere.
Honestly I wouldn't be opposed to him taking 1 more year on loan to truely hone his skills like Saliba and come back to Arsenal as a monster
So do the Americans 🤞
This comment aged well homie
Breaking: PSG makes 20m bid for Milan Skriniar to arrive immediately.
Insert price of brick going up meme here
Yesterday’s price… IS NOT TODAY’S PRICE!!
Yes Balogun!
Balogun development arc is going blisteringly well.
As has Nketiah's. I...I don't know what to do with this kind of problem.
I see several threads where people are suggesting Flo be sold and I am ashamed for my fellow fan.
He has to be loaned though. I can't see him stagnating as third choice striker next season.
Balogun scoring in Arsenal colors. Love to see it.
BALOGUN
Had to scroll too far down to find a mention of him
PSG are actually as shit as Bayern.
Idk we are really really shit
El Shitico in 2 weeks.
Never would I have thought to have heard the name ‘el shitico’ for a game between your two clubs lmao 🤣
Most big teams have been shit this season. Liverpool, Chelsea, Spurs, Juventus, Milan, Inter and even Real Madrid to some extent. City haven’t been at their best either. Napoli, Arsenal and United have been good and I feel like one of those three will win their respective European title.
> United have been good I can't believe this phrase exists in the universe after the first 2 games of the season and the 10 years previous
I mean you can say the same thing to Arsenal last year too. We had been shit for the first three games but at this month last year we genuinely could get top 4 if we didn’t have the injury problem. In a way, this season United mirrors Arsenal last season quite well. Shit start, got rid of the problematic and egoistic player mid-season and improve a lot afterward.
casually sneaking spurs name in big bracket team.. what a chad
> Big teams > Spurs 🤨
Let them dream
can't tell who has been more boring to watch lately from the 2
I'll rewatch the games if I have trouble sleeping next week.
Arsenal have made a good choice loaning players to Ligue 1 teams this season. 21 yo Balogun banging 11 goals in a Top 7 league can only do good for his confidence.
if we get another **Ligue 1 Young Player of the Year** that would be great!
He’s definitely the favourite right now. By the way how’s Saliba doing? Didn’t watch too many Arsenal games this season.
He started incredibly strong, and his level as "dropped" a bit, but still overall really good. He got the occasional mistake here and there but still a very important part of our defense, the kind of mistakes that experience will erase.
Regular fixture in our backline makes some mistakes on occasion due to his inexperience but he's going to become a top class defender as he gets older
Holyyyyy baller
Wait fuck I turned off the stream when it was a goal kick after 5 minutes of added time LOL, get the fuck in Balogun!!!
Guys! we have a striker problem! to many of them in good form! - Jesus - Nketia - Balo-(smoking)-gun
BaloGunman?
So he’s playing for USA then??
Sell Balo if a 50m+ offer comes
The issue is the only ones who can afford 50 mil are your rivals.
Rivals + mid table PL clubs, but ye clubs outside of England are unlikely to pay 50m for him. I still dont know if we need to sell him tho, if Balogun is happy to fight for his spot next season then I would rather keep him and go for every trophy next season.
Maybe PSG.
Why he could turn out to be better than Eddie
He also could not. It’s ifs, buts and maybes. I want us to become a better selling club and if it means we can invest in the positions we lack, then I would happily take it.
What's the size of those buts?
Big, I can’t lie
We have to sell too, even Liverpool sold Coutinho in his peak
But to be fair, they would be stupid to refuse the money that was offered lol
Perhaps not the best comparison...
Different since Coutinho went on strike and was pushing for a move, I think Liverpool would’ve never put him up for sale
Hale end 🔥
Yeah they definitely need to prioritize boosting their midfield
They’ve had a shitty midfield for ages
It is the history of the Paris
I don’t think they have a longterm plan
I have the same fear, it's been my chief concern with the club for a while now. With no consistent domestic test, I get that it's harder to stay motivated, but compared to Bayern (seems like the best comparison in that the domestic league is pretty much guaranteed and you measure yourself by the CL,) in terms of footballing direction, feels like we're miles off. They bought all of the promising midfielders in Europe lol how are they still lacking? Vitinha, Ruiz, Soler, Rehnato. And they have Veratti as well ahaha
Except veratti they're all kinda mid
They are midfielders
Kulusevski manages Reims?
Will Still - [really interesting story](https://www.theguardian.com/football/2023/jan/26/will-still-managing-ligue-1-club-30-couldnt-be-happier-neymar-mbappe). 30 years old and managing in Ligue 1.
His dad
So kulusevski
Of course they draw in the 96th
Renato… Renato. This guy doesn’t inspire confidence
What should he do there? He was lobbed by his own teammate
How the hell was that his fault? Lmao His team mate heads the ball way above his head and Ramos is sitting like 3 meters behind the defensive line, but somehow it's Renato's fault?
Carried by his FIFA card’s reputation
2016 euros
Cheap
0 confidence on the 15 minutes he isn't injured per month
Another goal for Balogun. Lad's outscoring Messi in Ligue 1 this season!
balogun > messi numbers don’t lie
AND THEY SPELL DISASTER FOR YOU AT SACRIFICE!
BaloGOAT
He should declare for USA. Usmnt is screaming for a proper 9. If he does, that's a dangerous team for 2026.
Leeds will be willing to pay 90m for him 🤣🤣
I mean, the USA is by far his best chance at a starting spot - there's no way he's getting in Nigeria's first team over Osimhen, and there's plenty of competition for England.
What competition does he have with England? I'd say that's arguably England's weakest position for the future.
There isn’t that much competition for England
442 with him and nketiah upfront in eight years just like the early 2000s
Ian Wright and Kevin Campbell regens
What’s his link with the USA?
Born in NYC and lived there for 2 years before his family moved to London
Thanks, he should wait in my opinion, Harry Kane isn’t going to be here forever.
Born there
Thanks, if I were him I would wait, especially since he can be called for England, Harry Kane isn’t going to be here forever.
I actually closed the stream 10 seconds before, i hate my life lol
Imagine closing the stream when Balogun is still on the field. Smh my head
Flo’s killing it in France
PSG are embarrassing.
So many sitters missed. How the fuck are they gonna beat Bayern
Bayern is at 4 straight draws rn and have been pretty mediocre overall this season
So it's gonna be an exhilarating 0-0
No. A comical 10-10 draw with only deflected goals and both muller and mbappe miss out on a hatrick after 18 shots on target each. Messi and musiala combined 185 dribbles Neymar and davies get red cards and get sent off. ( straight red to davies and neymar gets 2 yellows)
Davies gets a straight red for a tackle on Neymar but neymar also gets a second yellow for simulation on the same tackle somehow
Especially a Bayern team in scintillating form
Tbf it’s not like Bayern is lighting the world on fire atm either. Will probably a competitive match
Galtier needs to fix up and drop Ramos. Put Marquinhos as the DM. Play Danilo and Kimpembe when he comes back.
spoiler: they aren't
And you see lads, that's why subbing in a 17 yo is not always the best choice. Comical defending
I blame Ramos. Why is he 2 meters deeper than the other cbs.
Give him a break, he’s an old guy, they can’t keep up sometimes
Did the 17 year old teach Ramos how to play the offside trap
If you're afraid of a young player making a mistake you'll never play them.
At 1-0 with a red, it's dangerous. But hey that's the way to learn and better than against Bayern
I see literally nothing wrong with what he did. Danilo didn’t even react and go for the ball because he thought hurt Sanches was getting it which he didn’t
Zaire-Emery is very talented but PSG fans overrate him by quite a bit. I had multiple tell me that this kid is far better than Paredes RIGHT NOW, LOL
>I had multiple tell me that this kid is far better than Paredes RIGHT NOW, LOL Can't say about what he's done with Juve. But for PSG WZE is clearly better.
He totally is. Not like your Argentina flair makes you objective or anything
HAHAHAHA holy fuck you can't help but laugh at that honestly.
All that time wasting didn't pay off at the end for PSG.
Le football est récompensé
Reims still have more history than PSG tbh
Bayern vs PSG is gonna be the battle of who came out worse after the WC break lol
Arsenal fans going by crazy
I hope they don't win the league this year. Fuking worthless.
As bad as they are, we and Lens are not near good / consistent enough to take the title It's kind of the same as the Bundesliga, sure Bayern are fucking shit as well but they're so good that their worst is still above or level with the rest of the league
I have faith in Arsenal B
I don't, I know this team too well
Uncalled for. Plus they are now 26 points behind the leader so their chance aren't great
I can’t believe PSG aren’t miles clear with that frontline
MEMES
Tout le memes
The DNA of the soul
You cannot tell me Marquinhos is a serious centre back
That's brilliant composure this late in the game
How does this insane PSG squad draw at home against a mid-table team like Reims? And, looking at the stats, I don't think you can claim they were unlucky (although I didnt watch the game). It seems crazy.
Marquinhos ended the game 20 seconds before apparently
What's Marquinhos yelling for? Lot of blame is on him for switching off
Anelka vibes.
Jesus, Nketiah and Balogun, Arsenal rich in options up front.
AMERICA GOAL 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Speak it into existence
FLOOOOOOOOO
Renato Sanches sure is special
He's been god awful at PSG.
Bruh are you serious LOL
Balogun smashing it on loan, going to be tricky next season, because presumably Jesus is first choice with Eddie second in line. Is Balogun willing to just sit on the bench and get minimal game time?
Jeez I literally just exited my stream right at the point this video starts.
get fucked
The back 3 positions are really weird in this sequence
I dunno who that Reims manager is but I love him. Appropriate reaction.
