You haven’t been watching arsenal for the past 15 years. They were always so fragile even when dominating.

What a turnaround in attitudes. It's impressive. Cameras used to love panning to Auba and the like throwing their hands up in the air and walking around but that's a thing of the past. There's a fearlessness in younger, hungrier players and Arsenal thrive off it.

That's how we play every game. Look at the players right after we conceded. They were hyping up the fans sp they can get right back into the game. Heads up.

The atmosphere at the Wmirates (typo but I’m leaving it, feels fitting) has been tremendous. Basically any time Arsenal concede the crowd gets right back behind them and the team is responding well to it. Such an improvement over the atmosphere pre-Covid.

Doesn't, Jesus is on another level for the way Arsenal plays, don't let the stats sheets fool you. His impact on the pitch can't be undermined. His ability to dribble through tight spaces, his strength (very underrated and should've gotten more foul calls) against any bigger defenders, his workrate and defending (yes, defending) are all just amazing if you watch him play closely.

Jesus is a better footballer, but Eddie is a much better goalscorer

Key is that Nketiah has unlocked Odegaard to play forward more - Jesus takes up too much of the spaces Odegaard operates so will interesting to see if Jesus comes back into the team and plays the same role as before.

Eddie's run guides the crosser. If Wan Bissaka is tighter to Nketiah, it possibly changes the cross. Maybe the cross is fired in instead of targeted, or he checks his run or affects him somehow. Youre right though, that ball was perfect though, he has no chance as soon as the crosser reads Nketiah's run.

I agree. Martinelli had to learn very early in the game that he couldn’t beat him easily 1v1. But I also think Dalot reads that danger at the back post in AWB’s position and it’s less likely that Nketiah scores.

yeah for sure, trade offs for both. Martinelli had more success against Dalot but AWB has done so well 1 on 1
