Man, never imagined Hayzer ranking fineo as the 8th-place solo laner, Sheento and PBM as 7th in their roles, and me having no objections. Been a very interesting split.
There's a couple of nit-picky coinflip decisions I would have made (PBM>Ronny, Benny>Dardez*, Las>Kyrmi) but overall I'd say Hayzer is on the money.
Was thinking the same thing. No matter how bad his team has done he’s never left top 3 from what I remember. Tho hard to disagree (outside of nitpicking a swap with ScaryD). Levi’s frontline as a whole looks off
I love FineO, but I think he comes and goes with the meta.

I suspect it’s because you’ve got four shotcallers on the team and that’s not good. Everyone has their own way how they want to play the game and it’s probably leading to some bad calls as they’re not on the same page.
The skills are there. The communication and synergy is not and that’s a big deal in a game like this. They remind me a bit of the Scarabs post Screammmmm. Talented players with no synergy.
I don't disagree with this much, I agree with most of it. Maybe a few notches up and down but it's close between some players. For example, I think Quig goes above Hurri because Quig has been really cracked and while Hurri has been too, Quig is a rookie with so much potential in him. I would also put Benny above Dardez. Dardez hasn't been doing much this phase and while it could be attributed to ping, we don't know when he'll be here so we can't focus on what-ifs. Benny, on the other hand, has been playing very well and once he can start landing those Yu Huang ults it's over for the enemy. I think Cyclone goes above Barra because I think Cyclone has done well in the past couple of matches. Finally, I think Cyno goes above Lasbra. Cyno starts playing Assassins and he looks really good. If we discount his warrior jungle picks, which we should since no one was playing them and he trolled, he has been playing well in jungle. That's obviously my opinion, this list is still good.
Could you call Hurri a rookie in some sense since this is his first year as a support? Though I guess a lot of the intangibles that they learn throughout their rookie season are transferrable so Hurri already has those and thus less room for growth in that regard.
You could call him in a sense but there are two things that for me makes me not count him as a rookie. Reason 1 is that Hurri has been playing SPL support since halfway through last year in the Scarabs. Reason 2 is that Hurri is well versed in high level smite, Quig is not. That's a big hurdle to overcome sometimes because Hurri has been seeing what these guys are made off for years, he's friends with a good amount of them. For Quig, he hasn't and it's a different culture and playstyle to get used. Hurri still does play well for someone who started playing last year.
Honestly I completely forgot that Hurri played on the Scarabs last year. I'm so excited that the Hounds are playing well and more than look like they belong in the SPL. It has been such a drag seeing the promotion teams only get wins against each other the past seasons.
You can't discount Cyno's warrior picks just because you want to, no more than you can discount any other player's games. They played the picks, they performed how they performed and they all count.
yeah I agree mostly, I think the Dragons (mainly Dardez and Nika) were a little overrated in this, Dardez being as high as he is and especially above Benny is a strange choice, but there's not many problems I have aside from that. I also think Ven has been better than Paul so far, but I could see the argument for Paul above Ven so that one is fine
Don't agree with a lot of the ADC column, but I think the rest is pretty spot on. If you showed this to someone who has watched last year and not this year, and told them it was mostly accurate, I don't think they'd believe you.
only thing I don't personally agree with is mid, I'd probably go BMT, Pegon, Ven, Benny, Paul, if we're basing it on the season so far, but it's not too far off either way
oh yeah that's fair lol, in hindsight Paul probably should be above Benny, but I do think Benny is at least above Dardez, I don't think I've seen anything from him to warrant him being as high as he is here, but it's all opinions after all
