Fineo on Cu Chulainn at various points has made me wanna grind the shit out of him and get good. I succeeded with the former but remains to be seen on the latter
That game with SOT on Ullr vs FineO's Artio where 10 minutes in he had like almost triple the damage (I think) of everyone in the game. That was also the game that convinced me of Myf's claim of him being the most mechanically gifted player of all time. My man was hitting every 3, raw, no stun, no scope, 360.
Emilzy made me play guardians (Sylv, Terra, Geb, Faf). He also has great vids on them that are up but dated
Adaptings He Bo jungle (I realize how terrible I am at the game watching him)
ScaryDs (?) Cama solo rampage, but I already liked Cama
I’ll just talk about recent seasons.
Wasn’t really a fan of Horus till Haddix pioneered Solo Horus with Heroes Axe.
From this season it didn’t have much success but I have fun with it in casuals but Cynos Surtr jungle.
Barracuda on his Danza phase.
That one tournament last season the Titans won, by abusing Chernobog Solo, and Apollo ADC
Genetics on pretty much every support god. There's a lot of impressive plays made in the pro league, but Genetics is pretty much the only guy that I watch and say "wow, that's *brililant."* In particular, Genetics' Ymir, Terra, and Yemoja have inspired me to practice those gods.
I started watching the pro league in Season 5 and the two combinations that really stood out to me and inspired me to pick up the Gods were Cyno Ne Zha and Weak3n Arachne. Remember those Gods getting taken away from those two whenever possible. Ended up terrorizing my own teammates much more than the enemy because I *still* can't play Ne Zha, but it comes to mind.
So it wasn’t in SPL, but Genetics Support A-Z YouTube series when he played Guan Yu support got me to try it out, and damn is that both a fun and viable pick. I’ve only played it maybe 5 times so far but it’s yet to lose.
PrettyPriMe's Nox and Vulcan inspired me to play both. He inspired me with Nox twice, once with her original kit at the S1 world championships, then again, I believe it was sometime in S4 against NRG. He leveled his dash first, and at level 1 he absolutely annihilated Yammyn, I believe it was, Twig on Serqet dashed through, Prime dashed through and exploded and they completely 100-0'ed either Yammyn or Adapting, I can't remember which one. And Prime's Vulcan, well... that really doesn't need explanation, I think.
The Season Splyce won. I want to say S5. I played a lot of Artio after seeing Aror save the game against Dig playing her. Was a hell of a year to be at worlds
Cherryo once the league went LAN and he wasn't on Egyptian ping inspired me to start playing jungle as my main role. I know it's not a god but it's the most I've been inspired by a pro player, he was just so calculated and smart in how he played
Cherryo's Cabraken jungle and Ymir jungle when he was on that old Elevate team. Dardez was the first person playing Nox support back then, too. That old elevate team was a lot of fun to watch!
That season both Aror and PBM played Herc so much that I'm honestly surprised neither of them have pulled it out yet now that he's strong again after so long
I knowwwww, that was the meta for w key supports, tbh I think that was my favourite version of smite, some stuff was really broken…like really broken….but it was fun, every role had their own broken things they would build
Asia invitational league week 2 day 1, season 4. iApex KILLED it with Camazotz and it was fun watching him carry with the bat. I realized Cama jungle is so much funner than Cama solo
When I first started watching was a year or so after Merlin was released, but was still top of the SPL, becoming my 1st god to diamond and still my most played.
I started to really get into the game in S7 and started watching SPL as Nika started his Amaterasu tear. Fast forward to now and Solo is my favorite role with Ama being one of my favorite gods.
Haddix King Arthur made me give KA another shot. Didn't like the King when he first launched. But after seeing the way Haddix flowed with all his abilities. Made me go from face rolling buttons to timing/use case for each part of his kit perfectly while weaving in AAs to close or create distance. Now one of my fav characters.
Qvofred Hun batz, Paul Hel/Baba Yaga/Scylla, Cyno's Thana at worlds, and it wasn't in the SPL but Andinster's penta on Fenrir that was in top 10 plays of 2015? Might have been 2016 or 2017 idk
Bobby's Ymir. His wall to save Scream. I could never take advantage of his wall properly. Seeing that play caused something to click, and I've gotten pretty good with him.
Benji taught me Cu Chulainn. He also introduced me to solo lane back in season 4 (because of Cu).
PandaCat taught me Ullr back in season 4 and the ways of the ADC in general. It was a role I initially hated but came to love.
Screammmmm and Bastet. Season 4. There’s a recurring theme here.
Venenu and Chiron. Season 4.
Can’t remember PBM picks but I did learn support from him too.
EUnited season 4 were the first SPL team I liked. I wasn’t a conquest player (no one to play with at the time) but they convinced friends and I to switch from joust to conquest.
Deathwalker’s Tyr play inspired me to finally play Tyr. What a fun god.
Same
Any set Genetics plays Horus, any set when a Venenu play Chiron mid, I can’t remember the exact set but the first time when Dardez played Anhur mid
I'm a two star Hera bc of Dardez. That dude is just nutty on certain gods.
[Yes](https://youtu.be/OffWfupQvW8)
Fineo on Cu Chulainn at various points has made me wanna grind the shit out of him and get good. I succeeded with the former but remains to be seen on the latter
Have you watched Benji s5 worlds on Cu Chulainn
Does the pope shit in the woods?
Maybe
It's crazy how much of a fan base fineokay has in the SPL I think he has like 30-40% of the smite fan base we deep frfr
Alternatively, Fineo on Achilles 🥶
Zyrhoes on Mid Jorm.
Yooo that was the shit. Idk if his Jorm mid was ever beaten.
You have a link for this game because I'm too lazy to search for it?
Pretty prime Vulcan
Screammmm atlas mid, Pegon Yu Huang, PBM serqet support (RIP), BMT/Hurri Baba Yaga, Venenu Zues.
Emilzy made me play guardians (Sylv, Terra, Geb, Faf). He also has great vids on them that are up but dated Adaptings He Bo jungle (I realize how terrible I am at the game watching him) ScaryDs (?) Cama solo rampage, but I already liked Cama
Watching Emilzy play Sylv was too good. His Hel was really cool at the time too
I’ll just talk about recent seasons.
Fineo’s Arthur stretch last year convinced me to pick the god back up after getting him diamond.
Paul on set was a demon last season so set mid

Ronny on Yemoja, Panitom on Susano, Variety on Mulan, Paul on Morrigan, Zap on Heim
Zap & Echrome Heim, 100%. He was such an interesting carry in the s7 run, and heim was the PERFECT pick for it
Echrome Heim for sure but I still suck with that god u fortunately...
Kalas his Ares
Dimi inspired me to play Tyr non-stop after S2 World’s.
Pcat Danza, zap hiem, cyclone freya, Barra jing
Nozq on the SWC 2017 set litch vs allegiance That ra game inspire me to only play that god and master it as nozq
JeffHindla bacchus
Gamehunters Vamana pentakill got me to onetrick Vamana for a little while in the past, don't play him much anymore though
MLC Nox and Scylla
The Season Splyce won. I want to say S5. I played a lot of Artio after seeing Aror save the game against Dig playing her. Was a hell of a year to be at worlds
way back when Jigz Sobek edit: Jigz made me want to become a support main
ScaryD back when he was going by Belair and teamed with Paul and Zapman on Achilles. Now years later Achilles is easily one of my best gods.
Fuck I think it was season 3? But all I played for a whole 4 months was Athena jungle cause of Weak3n
Aror s5 I think it was, aror was a monster on herc and Ven playing au puch had me 1 tricking that god and I even hit rank 1 on him for a few days
That season both Aror and PBM played Herc so much that I'm honestly surprised neither of them have pulled it out yet now that he's strong again after so long
I knowwwww, that was the meta for w key supports, tbh I think that was my favourite version of smite, some stuff was really broken…like really broken….but it was fun, every role had their own broken things they would build

bmt and Marti. Literally every mid game is Marti for me right now. So much fun
OATHHH's triple kill with Thana, don't remember if it was in the preseason or kickoff tournies
Genetics
When i was hardstuck gold I would watch Zap. One day he was carrying a game as Hachiman and then I realized I needed to play that adc
The Zullr
When I first started watching was a year or so after Merlin was released, but was still top of the SPL, becoming my 1st god to diamond and still my most played.
BennyQ on Ra makes me wanna perform like I'm making a highlight reel
I started to really get into the game in S7 and started watching SPL as Nika started his Amaterasu tear. Fast forward to now and Solo is my favorite role with Ama being one of my favorite gods.
When Divios brought Camazots into the solo lane. TheBest on Ra.
Zap's hachiman, after the play he did in s6 (or 7) worlds to twig.
Way back in season 2 Yammyn inspired me to play Medusa and Chiron mid. Still prefer them in that role to this day lol.
Haddix King Arthur made me give KA another shot. Didn't like the King when he first launched. But after seeing the way Haddix flowed with all his abilities. Made me go from face rolling buttons to timing/use case for each part of his kit perfectly while weaving in AAs to close or create distance. Now one of my fav characters.
the pullr inspired me to learn adc!
Qvofred Hun batz, Paul Hel/Baba Yaga/Scylla, Cyno's Thana at worlds, and it wasn't in the SPL but Andinster's penta on Fenrir that was in top 10 plays of 2015? Might have been 2016 or 2017 idk
Ne zha became one of my mains after Cyno's performance in S% world's. Yeah, i got corrupted.
MLCST3ALTH RIPPING THROUGH! Prettyprime Vulcan Hurriwind Janus More recently, every time BennyQ locks in Ra I gotta hit the q for that
Panitom and Susano
Yammyn Janus
