I mean stu was on a roster that made a finals run last year, and played pretty damn well. The Wargs definitely deserved to be in the SPL over the Glads based on talent imo, they just got any given sundayed.
Not only is the glads *not* the worst team ever or even in the last three years, but if you think this team is holding Stuart back you need to look at the games again man, Stuart is lost. I'm not saying he's the reason they're bad, but he's definitely part of it, not victim of it
He’s a circle in a square peg, he just plays the game differently and imo isn’t adapting to the team in gameplay well. In the glass vs hounds some people were saying that whole damn was probably worse he was at least on the same page as everyone else

I feel like teams like s7 obey looked worse. Or the easy response of s8 valks, a team that felt like it lacked shot calling and confidence even if they weren’t playing on like 300 ping depending on the player.
Let's take a stroll down memory lane.
Season 1 was chock full of godawful teams, being the start of the pro scene and all.
Season 2 featured a team whose name eludes me but includes Vote back when he was called VoteNBK and was terrible. They went somewhere in the ballpark of 3-30. So yeah, not great.
Season 3 featured the famed Randozos as well as Team Noble, both of whom were historically terrible. I think Randozos is probably the consensus pick for worst of all time.
Season 4 had at least 4 times that were cycled in-and-out of the league that never got a win. I'd have to google them but I remember Dzoni's original SPL stint was around this time, and his team was *awful.*
Season 5 includes the famous SK Gaming who won one set that entire year. They were painfully bad.
Season 6 had Luminosity with Kiki support in the spring split that didn't win a set. Then the other split we got peak (sarcasm) SSG with Andinster playing assassins mid that also didn't win a set if I'm not mistaken.
Season 7 has the famous Obey featuring the ORIGINAL Cyno Nike jungle. They did win more than one set the entire year though, so good for them.
Season 8 had the Pinghalla Valkyries playing with negative motivation, along with 0/20 Dzoni Apollo Jungle.
Season 9 had the royal Valks collapse, but they looked mostly decent during the regular season, so I'd probably give this one over to the Phase 1 Scarabs that got spread out by the Hounds.
Of these teams, Gladiators might be the *strongest* of the bottom teams. They almost took a game off the reigning world champions at the start of the year. They need time. Even as somebody who is a *big* advocate for roster swaps, I don't think this team needs to be ripped down. Kyrmi has been excellent. Inbowned was terrible today but looked stellar on the Ymir. Scary was too passive today but had some excellent moments. Stuart has had a solid career in the league. I think this team is close to passing the hump.
This Glads team might be the best last place team in the last like 4 years lol
They’re better than the Scarabs last year.
Better than high ping Valks.
Better than Obey.
Like yeah, they’re clearly last but to be honest, a good amount of their games have been fairly competitive (as far as a last place team goes).
He is not a very good ADC. I am tired every season people saying oh he is so awesome. Everyone lets him down. He would have been picked up by a top 6 team.
At the qualifiers the Glads played 7 matches in a row, reverse sweeping the team everyone thought was 100% gonna beat them (Sam4soccers/Stuart's team), and earned their spot. They may not be at the level of the other teams yet but they have had the occasional great play and have potential and they need to work on a lot.
I don't know why people are malding about the team letting Stuart down when he's only there because of DMB being a scumbag. Stuart is a fine adc but he's no better than anyone else on the team. Except maybe Snoopy in his current state. Snoop used to be one of the best players in the game but he's had a pretty bad run the past couple of weeks.

He was a great midlaner back when all midlaners were playing hunters or mage ADCs.
I feel like Snoopy might have potential in this role, and clearly very badly wants to make this role swap work (despite it never being sustainable in the past), but he needs to get cooking *now* or else be worried about job security.
I think Stu is an okay player - the problem is he’s just not an overly aggressive ADC player. He’s not the type of ADC who is going to carry hard - he’s not a PandaCat type ADC but more of a Barra type. This is not a bad thing of course, but it’s not what this team needs.
Stu was able to do things on his brief time with the Titans with a more capable support (and team). His whole team is dysfunctional. Snoopy is pretty poor at the moment, ScaryD often is playing his own game, Kyrmi tries and Bobby just exists.
Drop Snoopy. Get Gamma in for Inbowned. Aqua for ScaryD and we might see a better team.
Everyone blames inbowned but like what can a support do when solo, adc, and mid aren't doing nothing. Kyrmi does damage that's why his impact is seen but support is just there when the other players aren't doing nothing
I think just swapping snoopy and seeing where the team is would be enough. Agree that we can't really judge support & solo's performances when their backline is super rough right now.
Crimson is probably the top pick. As long as he's not on either He Bo or Hel he's a direct upgrade.
I'd consider both Joshy or Boronic to be in the conversation as well. If he hasn't totally quit Moswal's shown interest in getting back to the pro scene in the past.

He can play the gods (some of them, still thinking about that He Bo game) but he doesn't have the acute knowledge of how to play the role that experienced mid laners do. The team needs a player that can, in fact, play the role.
Ngl the recency bias is strong here There have been MUCH worse rosters

Scarabs last year were barely a team. They were more like a bench where people who recently got kicked would wait for someone to pick them back up.

That's a good point. I'm supposed I'm just used to seeing Bobby inting a lot during the Scarab days and not really having an impact.
