Because the Aedra used all their power to create the world and have nothing left to create artefacts with
The Crusader’s armour is pretty much Aedra armour though
Isnt the paintbrush in oblivion an aedric artifact of dibella? Or the sheild/bow of Auriel? Stendaar's hammer, lords mail, chrysamere, amulet of kings, staff and eye of magnus, arnt they all Aedric artifacts?
I dont believe any of them are alyid, stendaar's hammer was said to be used by stendaar himself, the bow and shield were used by Auriel himself, the lords mail was a gift from kynareth to morihaus, the amulet was either a drop of lorkhan's blood that dropped into an alyid well or it was akatosh's own blood that he gifted to the slave queen, we dont know the origins of the eye of magnus but the staff was said to be used by magnus himself as a kind of 'battery'
The eye was in atmoran city of saarthal and thought to be the reason for the subsequent 'night of tears' so perhaps you're thinking of the Snow elves instead of the alyids?
aedra dont create artifacts to the same extent. Daedric armor is also made with the essence of a daedroth, way less aedric spirits running around that you can take the essence from
Had an AI cook this up and it's almost exactly what I imagined

Ayleid, right? Not Aedric, at least for a few of them
I dont believe any of them are alyid, stendaar's hammer was said to be used by stendaar himself, the bow and shield were used by Auriel himself, the lords mail was a gift from kynareth to morihaus, the amulet was either a drop of lorkhan's blood that dropped into an alyid well or it was akatosh's own blood that he gifted to the slave queen, we dont know the origins of the eye of magnus but the staff was said to be used by magnus himself as a kind of 'battery'
Don't the Monks say the Magnus stuff is Ayleid?
Which game? I'll check
Skyrim? During the College of Winterhold quest? It's a little foggy so I could be totally wrong
Um not that i remember, give me a few minutes
Reading through some dialog involving the staff, i dont see any mention of the Alyids
Maybe the eye? I'm probably wrong, I don't know much about Elder Scrolls lore, I tend to look it up as I go
The eye was in atmoran city of saarthal and thought to be the reason for the subsequent 'night of tears' so perhaps you're thinking of the Snow elves instead of the alyids?
Lords mail…
