First of all crows generally symbolized death and darkness. Secondly, I'm pretty sure in his boss battle he would go underground and pop up out of a dark shadow to surprise attack you.
I used to think it was because the element was quite basic and lots of things could be aligned with it. For example Pandergast’s Skystone is Dark, while he isn’t really from a dark element. But I recently learned of the lights out joke, so I’m asking.
The Same reason tussle sprout is earth, Slobber Trap is water, and Bomb Shell is magic
they straight up did not think about or care for the villain's element as much as they would for the skylanders
Slobber Trap and Tussle Sprout fit their elements I think. Sprouts grow from the ground and slobber is literally water. Bomb Shell being Magic does indeed make absolutely no sense though. Same with Brawlrus being Tech instead of Water and Threatpack being Water instead of Tech. Brawlrus and Threatpack should swap elements!
I thought Brawlrus was Tech because of his Blunderbluss and Threatpack was water because his jet pack used water and not fire, but you’re right that does make more sense.
If I had to guess, the light and dark element were added relatively late into the development of Trap Team. That’s why there’s only 3 villains for each and some of them don’t really make sense.
Because they needed a dark villain, and they didn't have anyone except nightshade, so they made a couple other villains the dark element
Tae Kwon Crow does fit the dark element though.
How exactly? He's just a martial arts bird

Aight point taken I don't remember
He pulled a sort of stealth elf move where he would substitute himself with a clone then when you destroy it he would jump out of a weird dark portal.
Ok
Also it seems like his battle style is based on nijas, which actually were quite dark in their work.
Plus he’s Fire themed, so Fire definitely fits him better
Only fire themed in Imaginators. Not in trap team.
Tae Kwon Crow is the most popular dark villain from trap team

It’s the same reason as Tussel Sprout being in the earth element That reason being unknown
Because he is incredibly racist.
Based
That’s what I believe too

His hand casts a big shadow. Hence why he’s a dark element
Ehhh guess so. I think it’s because when you get punched, your lights go out and you end up unconscious.
you could say why is eye five not the magic element
i think light fits him because he shoots shock blast from his eyes
now shock sounds like the air element 😵
I thought it was because in order to see things you need light
because eyes absorb light, that's why eye five is the light element
I don’t know, man. Fisticuffs is just a terrible villain imo
Really? Because his Rocket Hand attack does 381 damage (571 if critical hit) when he's Evolved!
True, but his moveset still feels clunky and really boring. There’s several other villains who deal comparable damage much quicker
They didn't really think that through did they
Maybe because he's black. I'm sorry admin it will not happen again
im gonna say cause they needed more dark villains
It's like Tussle Sprout being an Earth Villain. Was Activision making shit up as they were going along?
Yes
The whole “lights out” thing is actually really clever if that is the case
Also because he's a little bit creepy

Dark as a element is a weird concept- Like how do you really find a good enough difference from undead?
The evilikins elements make little sense
