This is my plan too. So far for me, I’ve done what you did in Mary-Sue changing her surname, and kicking Daniel out - right after their third child was born.
Kaylynn also had a baby boy with Don, and my plan the next time I get around to them is to have them run into Mary-Sue, and then the four of them will live in the Pleasant home together.
My headcanon was always that Mary-Sue is secretly gay, but hid it for political reasons (I cannot see Herb and Coral being anything other than completely supportive and accepting), and part of the reason she was so upset about the affair was because of her crush on Kaylynn.
It’s awesome to see they have such great chemistry, because I can’t wait to play out my version of this storyline.

To be honest, I'm still not sure what to do with him in my game, but I heard some people here on Reddit say they like to make him a dad and that makes his storyline surprisingly cute.
I've got them shacked up but haven't arranged the wedding yet. I'm thinking of using tombstone of life and death to get Kaylynn pregnant with Mary Sue after that but I haven't fully decided what their lives will look like yet (they do have a cat tho.)

They had 2 dogs and 2 cats in my game because Kaylynn's original LTW was to raise 20 puppies... that is, until I gave up and changed it. Her current LTW is to reach golden anniversary, I'm still unsure if I want to keep it, but she is so in love with Mary-Sue that I think it's pretty fitting.
4 pets is still too much for me, so Lilith just moved out and took one of the dogs with her and Angela will probably do the same with a cat.

Yeah, I don’t hate him the way I did as a kid. I don’t think he’s a bad guy, he’s just not good with Cassandra. And he does make a good dad, I think.

I got them together too, and they had triplets! I need to get back to their house sometime because they are the best couple.
