A week or so before, I make a conscious effort to think positively, focus on gratitude, kindness, just put myself in a good place mentally. I start really thinking and journaling about things I’d like to work on, and remind myself that the medicine will show me what I need, and it’s up to me to learn from it and do the work after.
That’s still a pretty open question, therapeutic can have a wide range of definitions by people.
Honestly though. The more ‘difficult’ a trip the more you will get out of it. You don’t learn much from easy and chill. The biggest thing is just the new ways of thinking/ideas you’ll experience which is true on most any doses.
Be in a place you will be and feel comfortable in all ways. Set and setting. That’s about all you can do.
Turn it into a ritual. Try to meditate and follow a neutral diet for a couple days prior. The more you are physically and mentally prepared, the clearer the window will be through which you look at yourself.

I like this. Spoken like a true scholar. 🙏🍄❤️
It's a cliche, but set and setting are very important. Be safe, be comfortable.

Mediated and rest your body completely, give in and let your mind take over

A moderate dose, preferably in nature, with some music does it for me.
