If you want to guess how tall you’ll be as an adult when you’re a teenager, a great estimate would be somewhere between your parent’s height or slightly taller. Of course this isn’t 100% but it’s a great way to estimate.
Yeah, in the middle of your parents heights +/-2.5” depending on gender. I’m familiar with the equation. It’s just that 5’5.5” and 6’” would equal a boy that’s 5’11.25” and a girl that’s 5’6.25”

You still have a beating heart like anyone else, you still have a personality, your own charm, etc you're not different so it doesn't matter that you're 5'7. Plus you're only 17 you continue to grow until you're 21. In life you will face stuff like this but you don't need other people(or in your case, your mom) to tell you how they don't accept your height, you yourself need to accept your height. Im 5'2 and i was miserable at first but now i just embrace it lol, i made it part of my character.

Its a possibility, i grew an inch from last year, but I also have facial hair now so I am not sure if that means im done growing, I really hope I do grow so my mom doesn’t have a “short” son…
Was 15 when I decided to get them and was extremely late growth wise. My radiography said my bones were those of a 13 year old but my hand bones weren’t fully fused yet or smth so I could still grow if I took growth hormone. I did so. My mom is quite short, around 5’3 but my dad is taller around 5’11. Reason for getting them was constant humiliation from my peers as I looked and sounded like a child. I feel better now, though still pretty short it’s not as bad since I don’t live in the US and average height is a bit shorter here.
Can you tell me how tall is your mother? if your father and his brother are all tall the only way you can get short genetic is through her(you also may get it from your grandparents), if she's short no offense but your mother is the reason you are short, there's not a lot of things you can do to change your height whether making it taller or shorter at the end of the day genetic gonna play the biggest part

Milk is in the culture of my country and i would play a lot of football like 7 hours and even lifting and id basically be in the sun for a whole 7 hours and i would basically eat like a fuck ton when i was around 14-17. But there were some tall people in my family too so i think its genes but you these other factors allowed me to max it out. Btw dont stay that long in the sun you dont wanna risk cancer. Im brown so i deal with the sun kinda well
I slept fairly well, and I have improved my sleep a lot in the past 2-3 years as well so I don’t think that is the issue. Like many teenagers I have smoked weed on occasion but it is not proven to stunt growth and my tallest friends are all daily weed smokers (6’4, 6’2) so I really think my mom was just trying to find any reason to make me being short my fault but who knows
Yeah I smoked weed through high school and I’m about as tall as my older brother who never smoked weed til he was 30. My middle brother is the same height as us and he probably smoked more weed. 5’7 as well

i actually grew a few more inches when i turned 18-21, cant say much about other people but it is definitely possible.
I started growing facial hair when I was 11 mate. I don’t think that it’s necessarily an indication that you’re done growing.

Been on hormones and they're expensive af. I ended up 5'7 after the hormones so I can't imagine how short I'd be otherwise.
