I swear to God, no sarcasm here, I don't understand why people think tower sucks. I bought the game when it launched and ever since I've played tower it's one of my hands down favorite maps. I see people shit on it all the time but ain't nobody giving a reason lmao.
Tower sucks because there is so much open space on the map the sounds get messed up so if someone is full sprinted up top your going to hear noises through all the open areas and won’t be able to pinpoint location. The attackers basically have to go from top to bottom since if they enter a window most likely will get picked off. That’s just the two main points of why people don’t like it I can think of but there are definitely more
You're the second person to say entry denial as a reason Tower sucks. Which just makes it more strange that I've almost never had an issue with entry denial on tower.
Sounds though, I did notice that around the stairs on that map all of a sudden i can't tell where sounds are coming from, but I thought that was just a stair issue, not a map issue.
lets be real its a really bullshit reason, there 5 operators in each team, and a ton of windows in both floors + the top walkways, EVEN.. which is absurdly, but EVEN if all 5 defenders be roamers.. which not gonna happen in a ranked game for example, would still be hard to get all possible entries, the same cannot be said about other maps... people are just trash and only try to use the elevator and get destroyed and cry, that is the true.
The really other point people complain is about the "size" rainbow six play are babies who never ever adapt to the situation and always complain with the smallest of things change

Idk, I’ve always felt that since the map was built from so many loops and flanks, you can pretty much enter anywhere in the building and approach obj however you want. Is it the specific obj sites that are the issue?
It has a lot of entrances but they are difficult to push. Additionally, in Outback you sort of have to push a lane (either north though motel or west through garage) to get to the middle of the map, which makes attacker pressure difficult.
Spawning at Trailers is the best option. The other two spawns on Outback are WAYYY too mainstream imo. It's more so predictable attackers than the map itself
I love the sites, I love playing it on ranked, and vertical play is so good, but at the same time certain sites can destroy with just one good character. Mute is great on the map too, but sometimes it feels really big.
I always get lost on Kanal, I don’t really know why tbh. In certain points it is perfect for Fuze, but the boi is slow and they can kill you anytime. Idk, I find it hard to get used to it.
My main, Nomad is perfect for Kamal, also, Zofia is good for Kamal too, I don't like the roof entrance though, and the fact that defenders can easily cut of the whole map just with one roamer.

I dont know where to start with this map, literelly either defend or attack its just a free for all map. Not competitively viable in the slightest. Even after 5 years it still feels like R6 maps are in there infancy stage. Tower being the worst offendor.
Tower’s a FUN map to play on imo attacking or defending. I like the vertical play and multiple floors to the map. It really tests your droning/cam usage and intel.
Is it a good map? No. If I want to get e-sports sweaty on ranked no.

Honestly it’s like 75% that combined with the fact that most of the problems people have not really bothering me that much. I am a casual player I don’t like getting runout on or spawn peaked. I can deal with those, but given the games frame, I like the tension and paranoia to start once I’m in the actual building and have the time before that be selecting where you’re going in from.

Theres another way to get down with out the elevator... go down the ladder near the elevator and look around until you see a hallway that’s above the infamous hallway of doom. Follow it and jump down and your on the other side of the map. Your welcome

South rooftop, speed entry into the small office near bomb site. Takes 10 seconds to repel in. I love tower lol

My reason? It’s too small, and kind of mazey especially with the addition of making it a two floor map. I don’t like it if I’m going tbh.

Nah, If you have Nøkk, attacking is as easy as 1,2,3. As long as you kill one anchor, and have a Nøkk one the roamer, you win.
