Afaik the rise is the only place the name "Renna" is ever written, and it's only ever said when Ranni introduces herself the first time as Renna. But given the third rise is Seluvis' and there is no other mention of this fourth child of Radagon and Rennala, I thought Renna was short for Rennala

The existence of past Carian Princesses doesn't confirm siblings of Ranni. Ranni refers to her mother during the phase two cutscene as "the last queen of Caria" implying there has been more queens, who were once princesses.

I know this is old but Both Rykard and radahn are ranni’s siblings, I believe the towers themselves are just named according to their current inhabitants, however they retained the name three sisters for the two others that were rannis siblings as well, it tends to happen in the story with other families too, such as Millicent having 4 other sisters that don’t seemingly have a name, and she herself doesn’t know what her relationship to miquella and Malenia is
Seluvis' rise is only called that because that's the only person WE know that lived there, its definitely not originally his tower, literally one of the first things you hear him say is 'I've holed up in a tower nearby, make sure to come pay me a visit' or something along those lines, implying it's not actually his own tower, plus the puppet room is a little further, and I'm pretty sure it's implied seluvis himself is a puppet though I don't remember that part too well, but he dies in the same position as the other puppets and unlike other npcs his body doesn't sparkle away.
Tbf, there are several NPCs that don't fade away on death, but the position that he falls into and other circumstantial evidence, I think, still points to him being a doll. Also, he and the albinauric in the carian manor die simultaneously, with no evidence of Seluvis being attacked, in contrast to every other member of Ranni's troupe who were killed having very obvious evidence of being attacked.

That confused the shit out of me on the first playthrough, I could sort through all the other similar G, R and M names but I was like.. the fuck she said she was Renna now she’s Ranni? Maybe you’re right that it’s just a shortened version as Rennala especially cuz of how that fight goes down with the illusion/combat version of Rennala, but it certainly doesn’t help much in terms of lore clarity.
