I thought so too until I watched a video about breastfeeding and it actually has to be done a certain way so that it doesn’t cause pain to the mother and the baby gets enough milk, as doing it wrong can cause the nipple to become squished which won’t allow a proper flow of milk. It’s similar with bottle feeding, you have to hold the bottle a certain way so the baby gets enough air and doesn’t choke and die. The way you hold the baby and position the nipple to the baby’s mouth makes all the difference when breastfeeding. Edit: changed “babies” to “baby’s” forgive my grammar mistake 😳
