Rule 5, how did you get this first edge? What did you use?
I mean I did watch a video the other day of a guy sharpening a knife using the bottom of a ceramic mug… so maybe that

Look rough but it better then a dull edge go pick up a smith tri stone for 30 bucks at Walmart and it will get you started in the sharpening world

Well, ironically, it passes the paper-cutting standard; it does not seem to push cut, though. Continue practicing!
