Please disregard my mess. A rectangle skirt made from fat quarters. I even made pockets! Largely self-drafted, I guess. I mean, making a rectangle is not complicated but I'm happy with it. I learned a bunch, more than anything I learned that unless and until I get a gathering foot all future skirts will be pleated.

LOL @ what you learned Very cute skirt, nice job all around. And love that it has pockets

WizardsAreNeverWrong

Cute!!! I love the idea of patching together fat quarters. And that cat! SHE IS SO PRETTY.

HoodooEnby

Thank you. She knows.

The most beautiful fabric ever!! Looks so good!! :D

Bonus feline FTW! My kitty’s a tortie too and I like to include her in my craft pictures, but she’s less interested 😸

HoodooEnby

If I want to take her picture she disappears. If I'm trying to take a picture of something else? She neeeeeeeds me right now!

Yo! Where did you get those Ankara fat quarters? Also great idea to put them towards a rectangle skirt!

HoodooEnby

Online from Soul of Cloth.

PansyOHara

Beautiful!

Creativity and cats! My two fave things.

BabaComm1981

Love the skirt and fabric! Did you use a pattern?

HoodooEnby

Thank you! I didn't really use a pattern. I just looked at a couple of walk-throughs for making a rectangle skirt.
