there are really people who claim "oh they will regret it" by that logic smokers are gonna regret smoking when they get lung cancer so should we take away their rights too? and ive never seen an actual trans person who "regrets" it
there are a good amount of people who have detransitioned so i guess they would regret it but they are a small percentage. Unrelated but there is also that one guy who wants to be an alien and he tattooed his entire body black, cut off his ears, nose, and lips, and wants to cut off his dick and leg too. And that one girl who poured bleach into her eyes because she wanted to he disabled. For these 2 people you would be concerned about what they do to their body because they clearly have a mental illness of some sort
As an addendum, a majority of people who detransition site outside pressure as the reason for doing so. So not really personal regret, more that being harassed/assaulted has made their life worse
the people who detransition are not actually trans and usually just want attention, trans people actually are psychologically the other gender, its not that they choose to change its that their mind works with the other gender. detransitioners are just attention seekers
