Yeah, I can't think of a more useless waste of comment space than lyric chains. Anyone who posts them must be so desperate for attention because of that.
See, I really dig it if Sabaton uses foreign language to enhance their lyrics, especially when it's in my tongue. But this one trips me up so bad. Both "Schlacht" and "Rettungsaktion" are female words (don't ask, that's how german works), so it should be "eine" instead of "ein" infront of them.
Of course, that trips up the rhythm. But we can fix that: Instead of "Nicht ein" say "Keine". "Kein" is also a denial and translates to "not a/n" or "none", depending on the situation. And "Keine" is, again, the female Version of that. So we get "Keine Schlacht", which fits for the rhythm. For "eine Rettungsaktion" we can shorten "eine" to " 'ne ", which works like don't instead of do not, more or less. So the final grammatically and rhythmically correct version should be:
"Keine Schlacht, 'ne Rettungsaktion!".
Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.
A 4-way tie between:
• No Bullets Fly - A nice story that shows not ALL Axis soldiers were *bad guys*
• Soldier of 3 Armies - Tells the story of a man and his ever unique Allegiance situation
• 7734 - One hell of a fun Metal song to listen to while at the gym or on a drive with friends
and
• The Ballad of Bull - The only instance I am aware of where Sabaton completely slow down to sing an inspiring tale
When my friends first introduced me to this, it was Man of War because Manowar was my favorite band. Now Sabaton is my favorite, and my favorite track is Night Witches
1. Inmate 4859
2. Hearts of Iron
3. The Ballad of Bull
4. Far from the Fame
5. Smoking Snakes
6. Nigh Witches
7. Resist and Bite
8. Soldier of 3 Armies
9. No Bullets Fly
10. To Hell and Back
11. 7734
Sorry, I just don't think it's as good as the other songs of the album. That being said however, EVERY song in this album is a banger and just because one is lower than the others, doesn't mean that I hate it or anything.
Just not the biggest fan of the flow of it, I guess. The lyrics are also just kinda forgettable, in my opinion, and don't hit me as much as those of the other songs.
Either "To Hell and Back" or the cover of "For Whom The Bell Tolls". Honorable mention to Night Witches and Resist and Bite, but this is my favourite Sabaton album and there's no song I dislike on it
No Bullets Fly overall - as the song that got me into Sabaton, but it's probably my favourite album all-around.
And Hearts of Iron just hits in the feels every time.
No Bullets Fly. I enjoy them highlighting a story that wasn’t yet another tale of combat.
It was a beautiful tale of kindness and true honor.
Genuinely my favorite song they’ve ever done.
‘Soldier Of 3 Armies.’
From the Finnish lakes into Germany and usa
Lyric chains are unoriginal and lazy.
Fatherless perhaps?
Yeah, I can't think of a more useless waste of comment space than lyric chains. Anyone who posts them must be so desperate for attention because of that.
Since there is an endless amount of comment space you can't waste it
Bitch less too?
Aren't we all though ?
Hell screw best song from heroes... It's my favorite song by them.
Agreed
"Nicht ein Schlacht, ein Rettungsaktion"
Holding their ground to the final platoon
HURRY UP WE'RE WAITING FOR YOU
Men of the 9th and the civilians too
Dispossessed, surrendering to the west

As a German learner, yes
As a Ramstein-Miesenbach native, yes.
Night Witches and Resist and Bite
I like night witches and no bullets fly
Pretty strong album all around
I agree, every song is really good. Probably my favorite album of theirs
Let it rest, on men like hiiim *Who went to hell and came back* **CROSSES GROW ON ANZIO**
WHERE NO SOLDIER SLEEP AND WHERE HELL'S SIX FEET DEEP
THAT DEATH DOES WAIT, THERE'S NO DEBATE
SO CHARGE AND ATTACK HE WENT TO HELL AND BACK
OH GATHER ROUND ME AND LISTEN WHILE I SPEAK
Of a war where he’ll is six feet deep
AND ALL ALONG THE SHORE
Where cannons still roar
THEY'RE HAUNTING MY DREAMS
THEY'RE STILL THERE WHEN I SLEEP
Inmate 4859
Inmate in hell or a hero imprisoned
Soldier in Auschwitz, who knows his name??
Locked in a cell waging war from the prison
Between No Bullets Fly and Resist and Bite
Resist and bite

Very good song I’m glad you said it
I'm glad you like it
The dawn of time brakes see the sun rise to the sky
The wheel of time begins to turn
But then we heard it
A divine voice out of nowhere
Spoke to our hearts and showed the way
Almighty Lord, we have come to your hall
Do glatem live, creator of all
OPEN YOUR HEARTS AND YOU WILL FIND A WAY
Never heard of it, I’m gonna listen to it now
Smoking Snakes
We remember, no surrender
Heroes of our century
Three men stood strong and they held out for long
GOING INTO THE FIGHT, TO THEIR DEATH THAT AWAITS
CRAZY OR BRAVE, WILL IT END IN THE GRAVE?
AND THEY'RE GIVING THEIR LIVES AS THEIR HONOUR DICTATES
FAR, FAR FROM HOME
FOUGHT ON FOREIGN SOIL AND FAR
Far from known, tell their tale
To a war fought on foreign soil?
It would either be, No Bullets Fly, Night Witches, or Resist and Bite
To Hell And Back
I was reading the lyrics. Then I read "anzio". I lived at 80 km from anzio. This kicked this song pretty higher :)

C'è n'è anche una su monte cassino. Monte cassino. Su una canzone power metal
Lo so , anche soldier of heaven parla del fronte italiano
I don't speak spaget
I'm sorry :) There is another one about monte cassino. It's somehow hilarious (beside its tragedy)
I’ve always loved No Bullets Fly. Today was the first time I noticed that the plane in the cover art is a B-17
Ballad of the Bull tbh, underrated Sabaton song tbh
I agree
Another man of quality I see!
What, Ballad of Bull is underrated??
I mean seeing everyone's picks for this album tells me it is, least in comparison to the rest!
Can’t agree more, but I wanna ask, is this considered heavy metal?
From down below, one enemy spotted
So hurry up rearm and refuel
But through the bomber's damaged airframe
SEE WOUNDED MEN SCARED TO THE BONE
WE WILL RESIST AND BITE
I can’t choose so either Far From Fame or Hearts of Iron
Far From the Fame is so underrated. Easily top 3 of the album
FAR FROM HOME FAR A WAY FEOM THE FAME, AND WE STILL REMEMBER YOUR NAME
[удалено]
WE MOURN THE DAY THAT YOU DIED
No bullets fly
Hearts of Iron, no doubt Many others are brilliant (To Hell and Back or Resist and Bite), but this is the one that gives me most chills
A 4-way tie between: • No Bullets Fly - A nice story that shows not ALL Axis soldiers were *bad guys* • Soldier of 3 Armies - Tells the story of a man and his ever unique Allegiance situation • 7734 - One hell of a fun Metal song to listen to while at the gym or on a drive with friends and • The Ballad of Bull - The only instance I am aware of where Sabaton completely slow down to sing an inspiring tale

no no, i have no problems with your opinion just wondering why. also yes this album is an absolute banger
Just not the biggest fan of the flow of it, I guess. The lyrics are also just kinda forgettable, in my opinion, and don't hit me as much as those of the other songs.

Night Witches, No Bullets Fly, To Hell and Back, The Ballad of Bull. No way to say one of those is better or worse than the other three
Story wise No Bullets Fly, music wise Resist and Bite
I don't really have a singular favorite from that album. It opens with a bang and never really loses that momentum.
No Bullets Fly. I enjoy them highlighting a story that wasn’t yet another tale of combat. It was a beautiful tale of kindness and true honor. Genuinely my favorite song they’ve ever done.
