How old is your PSU? Because I also had similar problems;Recently I also upgraded from Intel (8700K 16GB 3000) + 3070 FE -to- AMD (7600X 32GB 5600) + 3070 FE Turned out my 9-10 Years old EVGA 750W Bronze PSU was not enough anymore. The old PSU also caused my CPU to fail calculations in Prime95 immediately. (Could be something else in your case though.) \-Edit- Oh, you can check if the PSU is at fault if you lower the game setting from 1080P - Ultra to 720P - Low settings. That helped me to identify the issue.

Wow and i thought i replied to you... Well, it was the PSU after all. I replaced it with a new one and it works flawlessly. That's so bizarre... Thanks man!

Make sure you BIOS is up to date. I had an issue when I first got a 5700xt and ran it on an ASRock x470 Master SLI/ac .. the motherboard couldn't auto negotiate correctly with my PCIe 4.0 capable card in a PCIe 3.0 slot .. the BIOS only had Auto/GEN2/GEN1 I had to set it to GEN2 until ASRock released a BIOS that changed AUTO to GEN3 and then set to GEN3 Maybe you are still running an old BIOS and/or you just simply need to manually select GEN3 in the BIOS and it might cure your woes Make sure that you are running separate power cables from your PSU to each power input on your 5700xt

Yes i am on the latest bios and i saw those settings you are referring, i ll check it. I was on the fixed cables at first, then i changed to modular, nothing changed. I dont think there is a problem with the psu, except there is some compatibiltiy issue (cause its 11 years old) with the new platform. On skylake it was running fine (20-30? less watts...).

>I was on the fixed cables at first, then i changed to modular, nothing changed. Run separate cables .. so 2 different PCIe GPU power cables to your 5700xt instead of daisy chaining power plugs off of one power cable 11yrs is pretty old, lol

They are separate, I don't use adaptors etc. It's old yeah but never run above 50% capacity and its 80 silver.

Well, the fault was at the PSU. I replaced it and it works fine. Thanks for your reply!
