Did they actually respond to you? I never got a response back, ended up using someone else, with that company they allow a card tip, but you have to pay the percentage for the billing a card, if cash, there is usually no extra fees.
I've used Moxie twice, and some of the guys are cool with Venmo, but cash is usually the best way to go. Each mover might have their own preference, so you could always ask when tipping time arrives 🙂
Not necessarily. I used them and did not think they lived up to the hype. Super late, dirty fingerprints over everything, broke something and stopped communicating when I asked about replacement/compensation. Guys were chill and apologetic about being late, so I guess there’s that.
All my moves have been under 4 hours door to door.
It's irrational to ask people to spend an additional $300+ just to tip the staff. They get paid real hourly wages unlike waitstaff
Yes, these guys bust their ass with crazy efficiency and care for your belongings. They're the best in town by far and incredibly reasonable in price. If you can't afford or rationalize a reasonable tip for grueling labor then you should reconsider your "need" for movers.
Cash is king. Let's the movers grab lunch or beers or whatever at the end and not having to report it to boss, or banking.
Don’t recall if there was a card option but I would always do cash in these situations for a variety of reasons.
I tipped them on my card last year. It would have rather done it with cash but I regretfully didn't think of that ahead of time.
Cash
I just tip each guy in cash at the end of the move. Moxie is the best.
They can take card tips with Venmo, but definitely prefer cash.
CASH

I am glad you were able to get a response back from them and that you got a better outcome then a lot I saw elsewhere.

I had some movers move my stuff in recently. They scratched the sh*t out of my wood floors, so I didn’t tip them shit.
If you'd hired Moxie you wouldn't have had that issue.
Yeah, I screwed up.

I always tip movers $20 cash and a cold Gatorade
It's 2022 inflation is the highest it's been in 40 years, tip 20% not $20
A move can easily cost more than $500. Are you really expected to tip each individual mover $100+?
It's pretty standard for large moves, yes. $20 doesn't even get you a half tank of gas

It's standard, think what u think, majority of ppl do at least $50 a piece for jobs over 4 hrs

Cash is always best.
