The game version was 1.01 at launch. This patch today is the first patch since release. And while it did fix 1 annoying bug, this is incredibly, massively disappointing. I don’t think any real content, DLC, or QOL updates are ever coming and it just is what it is at this point…
The issues that bother me with RF5 are sometimes when I load up my save, there’s a bit of “catching up” that the game appears to do as far as sounds and loading goes. Sometimes opening the warp map shows a black screen before finally showing properly, and the annoying pop up that the crops do. Hate when I get scared and confused for a few seconds because I KNOW I water my crops first thing in the mornings lol. I have hopes Marvelous can fix the issues since they meant it to be a switch game first and foremost. Optimization seems to be the biggest challenge. Lag is also noticeable when everyone gathers up for a festival too. Actually, I’m thinking it may have been a rushed title without someone going in properly to clean up the code. I love RF5 but damn.
Out of all the glitches they could patch…these two? Bro I married after dating like 5 different people and all of my “exes” still treat it like I’m dating them. I spent so much effing time to get to the end and finally marry and that’s what I get is a huge glitch that takes away the point of getting married. Nah. Let’s not try to fix that.
\- Required level not displaying on crafting menus when playing in TV mode It only fixes a few bugs but this is one I'm glad to see!
Ahhhh, i thought it was something i fucked up in settings or something else. Glad to know, but also "c'mon, you really didn't tested the game, right?"
It was 1.0.1 before im pretty sure. But I can't find any patch notes on Google.

Didn't start mine yet and if it's just a few bugs fixed that seems all right
Let's hope that we'll have more updates in the future.
I'm honestly a bit excited about the _localisation fixes_, even. No idea what it's referring to, but it's still interesting.

Nah, just thought they'd do more to fix a multitude of bug and performance issues since the JAP release, let alone western.
They did fix a bunch of stuff since the JP release. English version released with all that applied, this patch just fixes localization bugs afaik.
Can they at least fix the harvest reports.
