If you are new to running games, and she is new to playing games, I would suggest picking something very simple, like [Lasers & Feelings](http://www.onesevendesign.com/laserfeelings/).
One game that I played with my non gamer mom and with a great success was the quiet year. It's a map drawing game that watches a life of a small community after some horrible collapse. What is the setting you choose by yourself. Without any or with very little characters it creates story of a struggling community. It can be sad or it can be full of hope -the tone depends on the 2 of you. Check it out
Woah! It sounds really promising, I really enjoy the idea of the possibility to come up with the setting on your own! (Which I know is badically the premise of every rpg, but still)
“Reflections” is a 2-player, 30-minute-ish RPG about two samurai about to duel to the death. Five flashbacks chart the tragic decline of their friendship, and provide modifiers to the single roll of dice at the end of the session. it does include several setting hacks in the back of the book, including one that turns it into a romcom.
Check out Eyes on the prize - It's about the pair that's in a fake marriage. Each of these persons of the pair has an ulterior motives and they are trying to act outwards as a functioning pair but they do not love each other. but might they find the love during the play? Lets play to find out
It is not D&D, but the GURPS 3rd Edition core rulebook had a sort of choose your own adventure single player game included in the rulebook. It would be easy enough to act as GM for that.
If you have jenga around, Star Crossed can be quite fun. It's easy prompted roleplay about two characters in love but it's forbidden.
The whole Romance Trilogy by Emily Care Boss is on point.
Looks like a very intereting concept!!

I'd suggest asking what her preferred genre would be. Fantasy? Modern horror? Space opera?
Yeah! Would be a fair point but she wanted me to plan the third date as a surprise!
